No ones POV

It had been a few weeks since Dinah's party, and Lauren meeting Camila, but that didn't mean Lauren had forgotten about her. In fact, it was the opposite. Camila had been on Lauren's mind almost every waking moment. She was in two minds; half of her wanted desperately to see Camila again, and the half wanted to stay well away from her in fear of developing more feelings for the girl. However, Lauren didn't get to make that choice, because the next day, Dinah informed her that they were all coming to Dinah's apartment, and Lauren had better be there. Lauren just rolled her eyes, but inside she was secretly hoping Camila would be happy to see her.

It was a few hours before Lauren was due at Dinah's, and she was stressing out. Over what clothes to wear, what makeup to wear, what shoes to wear, how to act and how to look. And most of all, whether she still had feelings for Camila, if you could call it that. She evidently did, if she was stressing over every tiny detail when it was just a few friends. But she kept telling herself that it was nothing, it was gone, that they were never really there in the first place. But she couldn't help but have the slightest hope that Camila returned her feelings. But that was crazy. They'd met once. Lauren couldn't bear to keep agonising over these questions, so she busied herself in tidying her room.

When Dinah walked into Laurens room, her mouth fell open.

"Its... tidy!" she exclaimed in confusion. Lauren giggled slightly. "I can see that, Dinah. I tidied it, Tonto."

Dinah just rolled her eyes. "You know you love me, Lauser. Now come on, we're picking Mani up on the way."

Lauren noticed a slight blush creep onto Dinah's cheeks at the mention of their friend, but decided to save the questions for later. She let Dinah lead her to the car, and immediately her brain started whirling with questions about what was going to happen tonight. What would Camila think of her outfit? She had decided to wear something not too casual, but also not too fancy. She felt comfortable with what she was wearing, but she also wanted to look good for Camila.

Laurens POV

My questions were brought to an abrupt stop when Dinah honked the horn as loudly as possible outside Normani's house.

'Jesus, Dinah. Give a girl a warning, would you?'

Dinah just shrugged. "Oops."

Normani opened the door and climbed into the car.

"Hey Dinah, you look amazing!"

" I know, bitch," Dinah replied in typical fashion, but I couldn't help but notice the blush that had crept onto her face once again.

"You look really nice, Lauren," Normani said, turning to me.

"Thanks! So do you." I replied as Dinah sped off down the road and back to her apartment.

Dinah lived right on the top floor of the apartment block, and unfortunately, the elevator was broken. By the time we had gotten to the third floor, I was already out of breath. Normani still had enough breath left to complain though, and Dinah seemed completely unaffected.

'How come you aren't even out of breath at all DJ? It's not fair!" Normani panted.

'I walk up the stairs every day, the lifts are shady af and I'm not about to be murdered."

'That's an odd perspective to take, but okay. Are we nearly there?'

'Nope.'

When we finally make it to Dinah's apartment 32732974692746 years later, the lights are all off, and I can't see a thing. Then all at once, something collided with me and I collapsed to the ground.
