The second we got there we were welcomed by this big guy with a graying ponytail, I studied him, watching his friendly nature and kind brown eyes. Noting the way he gave John a hearty friendly hand shake, obviously they knew eachother.

"And who is this gorgeous young lady?" He exclaimed, turning to me with a look of awe. I blushed. Obviously he was just being nice, I never thought of myself as more than average. I have uncooperative chocolate brown hair, and brown eyes that look more like black.

"Angelo, this is Jane, Sherlock's new flat mate." John said with a weird tone. Angelo raised his eyebrows in shock as his mouth dropped open.

"Sherlock, Sherlock Holmes?" He gasped. I felt my face twitch in annoyance, Sherlock was not that bad. Yah, he can be rude, and condencening, but he does care. He is still human, and humans don't deserve to be warned about and treated like a freak all the god damn time.

"Problem?" I asked trying to hide the venom in my voice while plastering a smile on my face. He chuckled as I saw John and Mary give me an odd look out of the corner of my eye.

"That lucky basterd...." he exclaimed smiling at me with a look that almost looked proud,  "I'll be expecting a wedding invitation." Angelo chuckled as all three of them laughed while I stood there, eyes bulging out of my head. The frightening sensation of such exposure creeping up my spine, as if I was completely naked.

"Sit where ever you'd like, it was nice meeting you Jane." He smiled, I smiled back and averted my eyes trying not to think about how my stomach flipped when he said wedding. It was quite maddening, not being able to control your own feelings.

Once we sat down I picked up the menu and immediately found the Chicken Alfredo. I put my menu down to find John and Mary starring at me expectantly.

"What?" Mary leaned into John and whispered something in his ear. my curiosity grew as John nodded.

"So what did u do today?" John asked pleasently.

Be careful Jane

"Argued with a newbie taxi driver for hours." I laughed, hating the memory

"Where did you want to go?" Mary asked.

They aren't suspicious Jane it's a normal question.

"Just to see a guy I knew back in Wisconsin." I shrugged trying to come off as nonchalant. John looked worried, and took a sip of his water.

"Whats his name? Is he...your, um..boyfriend?" I laughed quite loudly.  I couldn't help myself. The thought of David and I! There is one thing David and I have in common, we're both attracted to men.

"No no, his name is David. Just a friend." They both took a sigh of relief, which was odd. Why did they want me single so bad?

We fell back into silence as I let them look at their menus. After a while they put them down and stared at me expectantly once more.

"Are there any questions you would like to ask us?" I see what they're doing. They're playing tactically. They want me to talk about Sherlock before they do. Oh well I'll give them what they want. The more information for me in the long run.

"Yes, actually, there are-"

"Hello my name is Jack, I'll be your server tonight, can I get you anything to start off with?" I was cut off by a guy about my age, blonde hair, and a smile that could break you.

Normally I would have been blushing or at least smiling at him. However I didn't feel the least bit attracted to the guy. My thoughts were clouded with Sherlock, I had no control. I wish he would just leave us be.
