Chapter 7 Missing Link

"Chalo India!"

Brenya winked at Jerry.

Jerry got up to arrange for the journey to India.

All the travel documents were prepared
beforehand by their Head quarter office from Washington. Visa and other related documents were already in hand.

Jerry Liang was born in Hongkong but all his education, he did from Cambridge University in England. He was more of Englishman than Chinese. He was a Law Graduate and exceptional story teller and intelligent guy who could read the person by looking at them.

Handsome guy with Oriental looks which made him unique and ellusive; ' Touch me Not syndrome, the way the girls used to describe him.
In fact, people used to give a knowing look that he must not be straight since he never had a steady girlfriend.
He had this insecure feeling after his parents divorce when he was still a teenager.
He had to shuttle between two parents, his mother stayed back in Hongkong and father went to London.

Basically, he was an easy going guy and jolly goodfellow who was yet to fall in love really Head over Heels with somebody. Though he had accompanied his friends for Blind Dates but seriously he had not fallen for anybody.

He had a deep Crush for Brenya his Boss but she was taken and he knew that his Boss had fallen for that good for nothing criminal Gun Runner Johnson Reuben Shanghi.
Though Brenya would not admit the fact but her actions showed otherwise.

She was distraught after Johnson went off rather disappeared mysteriously.
Still reluctant to accept that their world's are poles apart and there was no chance to meet halfway.
'Is this Love or Obsession ' to feel that pain of missing someone or longing for the company of that someone.
She missed every minute of her time with him, specially his jokes and making her laughed till her insides ached.

She remembered  his gentle lovemaking cuddling her and murmuring sweet nothings, making her feel that she was the most precious gem in this whole world and beating up that vagrant who tried to fondle her in the busy subway.

They were walking on the  busy subway around 11 pm to grab something to eat after their heavy rendezvous.
The overcrowded subway was brimmed to the full and there was no space to walk even.
Suddenly one guy dashed her full front and fondled her breast grinning.

EEks!....Brenya screamed .
"He touched my breast."

Johnson immediately pulled his collar  and punched him.

" How Dare You!"

That guy was shocked and rubbing his cheek which had almost lost the sensation got up and rushed out. He knew he was in trouble. The look in the face of Johnson was screaming ',Murder.'
Then Johnson hold Brenya tight almost enveloped her in his broad chest.
Then put his hand on her waist protecting her while walking.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" She screamed.

"Am I going crazy?"

"No!No!No! MANIAC!"

She screamed again.

"Losing my mental balance for that JERK?"

"NO WAY"

She steadied herself mentally and got up from her chair to glance outside wiping her tears that streamed down her cheeks like slow stream.

She yanked the tissue from the tissue holder bringing the whole holder down and cursed softly." Deep shit."

Jerry tiptoed out of the room giving her silent look and frowning raising his brows.

He understood that the Hardcore his Boss Ms Brenya Black had been Hooked, Line and Sinker.

" That JERK!" "Fuck you!" He cursed.

"Wait Bloody!
" Johnson Reuben Shanghi I will not rest till you're behind bars and rot in Hell!"
"That's for my Boss."
He showed his third finger........"Up your Arse!"

Johnson and Monk left Bangkok behind and entered into the rural area of Thailand.

Chiangmai is a city around 700 km from Bangkok situated in the northern part of Thailand.
Famous for rich cultural heritage and the seed of Buddhist learning the city was beautiful and tourist thronged the place throughout the year.

The traveling was enjoyable if travel by bus or car. It took around 7 to 8 hours of travelling passing through picturesque places  of fresh and aromatic air. It's definitely heavenly to the distressed mind.

'Tring.....tring....tring....."
"Hello " " Brenya Black here."
"Who is it?"

The mobile of Brenya started to ring incessantly but there was no reply from the other end except the silence.

She checked the mobile screen but there was no number. The number did not appear on the scene of the mobile.
"What's that?"
" Who the Hell are you?"
" Idiot!"
She yelled at the mobile.
She closed the mobile and about to put it back in the bag.
'Tring....tring....tring...tring!'
She tapped the answer but again there was no number.
"Hello! Hello! Hello!"
She yelled again.
"Babe!"
She frozed.
She was silent, then,
"Johnson?"
He was silent as if weighing the pros and cons.

"Where are you?"
"Why did you go?"
"Why????"
"Babe!"
"So sorry!"
"Something came up urgently. "
"That needs my attention. "
" Meet you when this is done."
"Take Care Babe!"
Before she could say anything the line was cut abruptly.
