4. Coffee with Jennie

Surprisingly enough classes passed by very quickly and it was now time for lunch. I walked to the student council office to quickly drop off some papers before heading over to the cafeteria.

I made it to the cafeteria and sat in the table that all of my friends and I usually sit at. I was here a bit early so I took the time to quickly grab lunch and buy some stuff before it gets crowded.

As I come back Jisung and Felix are fighting over who should get up and get them both lunch. I just roll my eyes as I'm already used to their dumb fights.

In the end they decide to play rock papers scissors to determine who should be sacrificed to get them both lunch as well as getting me a cookies and cream milkshake.

After the most chaotic 5 minutes of struggling to determine a winner Felix was declared the loser and was forced to go get us our stuff.

In that time Woojin and Chan hyung joined us with their food. After a bit Seungmin showed up with Jennie.

Who then called over Hyunjin...

who then called over Minho

Who then called over Changbin

and that is how our table of 6 became a table for 10

It was the start of much chaos to come in the future we just didn't know it yet.

Lunch went by smoothly we had a group conversation and shared many laughs until lunch was over.

We now have 2 more classes before the first day of school was officially over.

As lunch came to an end we all split ways and made way towards our 5th period of the day.

My 5th period being an AP English course which I fortunately shared with Felix who was basically fluent in the language.

I finished the rest of my classes and it was now time to finally go home.

Even though nothing truly eventful happened today I felt very tired and just wanted to go home and take a nap.

As I was walking down the hallways I was stopped by Jennie who called out for me. I turn around and see her running in my direction.

"Hey do you wanna hang out now that the school day is over?" She asks to which I happily agreed to.

We made our way towards my car and drove off to a nearby cafe to hang out.

Once we made it we sat down and started ordering.

"Hey Innie can I talk to you about something?" She asked me nervously.

"Of course you can Jen I'm here for you no matter what okay? You can always count on me."

With that she gave me a small smile before asking the question I've been trying to avoid for the longest time.

"Are you gay?"

My face physically cringed before I responded with a small 'yes'

that was all it took for years worth of friendship to come crumbling all the way down to never be fixed again.

She simply nodded and asked me "do you like anyone?"

With that my eyes immediately widened as I was now on high alert. I like her boyfriend but there is no way I am going to tell her that. I contemplated what I should say but before I could even utter out a response.

She beat me to it.

"Jeongin I know you like HyunJin" she spitted out as she was glaring daggers at me.

with that my face contorted to one of utter shock and before I could even respond the waiter walked over to us and set down our order.

Once the waiter left Jennie got up,picked up her sandwich and coffee and just

walked out.
