Loki held up the tesseract, slightly bowing his head towards the mad Titan.
"Thanos, I give you my, undying fedelity"
Right as Thanos reached his hand out to grab the glowing cube, Loki activaded it and disappeared into a dark cloud.Loki found himself in a dark allyway in manhaten.
He immediately cuped his face in his hands as tears rolled down his face.
He had left Thor, Heimdall, Korg, Mik, Bruce, and hundreds of innocent Asgardians to die at the hands of Thanos.
And it was all his fault.
He heard this weird, freakish sound coming from the Tesseract.
Loki looked at it and found it incased in some type of purple light.
In a flash (litterally) it was gone.
Loki didn't care at this point. He didn't plan to use it.
He got up and walked down the alleyway.
The Tesseract had made him a little light-headed, so when he would normally walk with his chin up and shloders rolled back, he was more stumbling than anything. He got to the road where there were a few people stairing at him. There were no vehicles comming, so he started walking across. A few people started yelling at him, but he ignored them, thinking that they were people who had noitced him during the battle of New York. But they weren't.Loki heard the loud honking of a truck getting louder, and saw bright headlights. Before he could react...
Bang.
The truck had hit him.
He didn't feel anything at first, he got up and walked to the other side of the road. But when he continued walking, he felt something in his side. Nothing much, at first. When he continued walking to see what he should do next, he felt the pain getting more and more prominent.
He saw the Avengers tower and decided, he would ask for help.
Not his smartest idea, but he does have super intelligence.
