Caroline

Chapter 2

Jason has a co-worker who is also his bestfriend. His name is Michael. Michael is engaged. His fiance's birthday is coming up. Michael invites Jason and askes if he could help out. Jason agrees to help. The party starts at 4 and there's going to be a whole lot if alcohol. Jasons never missed a day of work or school his entire life!!! And to go to the party, Jason has to skip a day of work. Even though it breaks Jason's recorded of 208 days of work, his willing to have some beat his recorder by calling in sick at work.

The plan was to call in sick the day of the party. Sleep all day and until an hour before the party started to help with the decorations. Then he'll party all night. But Maria was not happy about his plan.

"That's great honey! What's her name?" Maria asked as she stirs the pot of mac&cheese.

"Luke."

"Oh he's...?"

"Yeah"

"Oh. Well, while your hone you can watch Leo." Maria says as she puts macaroni on every plate.

"What? Why can't you stay home and watch him?"

"Because your going to be home all day right?

"Maybe."

"Jason," Maria pouts. "I'm not going to have u stay home and sleep all day, just so you can go to some party at 4 a.m." Maria conformed.

Jason looked shocked. "How did u know I was going to do that?" Jason asked suspiciously.

"Motherly instincts." She said as she puts the pot of mac&cheese down and yells "Dinners ready!!!"

Carry and Layla came running down stairs to there chairs. Carry hops in her chair as Layla gets help from her daddy.

"I win!" Carry shouts while Layla pouts. "That's not fair!!! You only won because daddy had to help me!!!" Layla whined. "Oh mac&cheese." Layla snapped and ate some of it.

"Layla, we always say grace before we eat. Remember?"

Layla spits her mac&cheese out.

"Sorry mommy." She says as crosses her hands.

"Alright. Dear heavenly father we.."

"I'm sorry great god oh mighty but Jason wasn't done talking to me." Maria interrupted Jason prayer.

"I apologize lord but my wife is being really stubborn. You couldn't wait until after I said my prayer."

"No I couldn't."

"That was really mature of you."

"Why thank you."

"Maria your being very insecure!"

"Well I'm trying to say something!"

Carry and Layla were getting scared.

"What Maria! What are you trying to say!"

"Daddy? Are you ok?" Layla tried to ask.

"I'm trying to say that your not staying home all day, your going to work, and your not going to that party!"

Jason had enough. "God danmit Maria I've had enough of your bullshit!!!" Jason said after slamming his hands on the table.

Carry and Layla flinch.

"I am tired of you thinking you can tell me what to do!!! If I wanna take off of work, I'll take off. If I wanna sleep all day. I will. If I wanna go to my best friends fiancé's birthday party, drink as much alcohol, and fuck with some sexy chicks I can!" Jason screamed at the top if his lungs. "And there's nit a thing you can do about it." Jason said softly as he touches Maria's nose. Maria was furious. Here face was as red as a tomato.

"Layla, Caroline. Go upstairs and eat in your rooms." Maria demanded her kids clam.

Layla and Carry ran upstairs with there plates. Next thing you heard was screaming, a slap, and the front door slam. Maria stomped up the cursing under her breathe. Layla came running our and hugged her mom.

"Mommy where's daddy?" Layla asked about to cry.

"Daddy went to his friends house. He won't be back until tomorrow."

Layla started to cry. "I don't want daddy to go to his friends house," she sobbed "I want him home now!"

Maria picked Layla up and carried her into her room.

Caroline wanted some comfort too. She went into her parents room when her mom was feeding Leo. "Mommy?" Caroline said. Maria but Leo down for a second and Carry ran into her mothers arms. As Caroline cried in her moms shoulders Maria did the same thing and apologized. "I'm so sorry carry. Your father is just a pain in the asteroid sometimes." Maria cried. Layla got the hug with them. They all spend the rest of the night watching movies and eating popcorn.
