The Bay Beach

The blue waves,
The white sky.
The clouds afar,
Yet seemed too nigh.

The white soft sand,
Scattered on the bay.
That looked all the same,
From December, to May.

The unending horizon,
The depth below my feet,
The sun pretending brighter,
The trees turning green.

Walking into the water,
I wondered,
Was 'The Shallows' a true story,
Or was it 'The Deep Blue Sea'.
