Let's rant about stuff

Anime

       DISCALIMER: I pinky promise this is not what you think. I love anime a lot. 

        So anime. I love it to death, but not so much that I can't live without it. I've known what anime was since before I was born. But every once in a while I get the people correcting me on how to say the names of some character or the word "manga". I don't use the word Weeaboo but in this case I'm totally gonna use it. So today's rant shall be about how annoying this gets. 

        So I'm walking with my one freidn down the halls of the ghetto school. We're talking about anime and whatever and then it comes to Ouran high school. I mention Hikaru and then it happens. "His name's HICK-COW-ROO, not HIKARU." First off, stop. YOU'RE NOT FUCKING JAPANESE AND THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT JAPAN YOU MORON! Second off, I've been watching anime literally since I was born! My mom likes anime and she didn't even know it was anime at that time! The thing is, I've been watching anime for a longer time than they have. It's usually that situation where they've literally just gotten really into it and then BAM, they automatically think that makes them Japanese. 

        You might be asking yourself if I ever went through that stage. Answer is, no. I never really pay much attention to how you pronounce the name, when I hear the name pronounced, usually it's pretty close to the same on how I pronounce it. For example, my friend MVSayo and I, we seriously don't care what they're pronounced like. In Shugo Chara, both of us pronounced Ikuto's name differently. I pronounced it as "Ick-toe" and she pronounced it as "I-koo-toe". We never once corrected each other on it, since we might as well just call him whatever the hell we want. Sure we guessed how his name was pronounced, but we just left it at that and continued on our merry way watching the damn thing. I seriously do not care how you pronounce it as long as you don't freaking correct me. Like seriously, are you trying to annoy the crap out of me or are you just thinking you're some Japanese person? (Not trying to be offensive here). I'm free to say however I want to say the damn name!  As long as you get who I'm talking about and don't correct me we're good. Same with the freaking word manga. Yes I say the "Americanized" version of it, cause guess what, I'M AMERICAN. "GASP YOU'RE AMERICAN?! AMERICANS ARE SUCK BAKAS. SO NOT KAWAII DESU!"  Give me a moment to slap all the people who do this, because it literally makes me want to punch a concrete wall. I don't have to say "MON-GA" if I don't want to., deal with it you weeabo (i seriously hate using that word xD). And if you haven't noticed I'm pretty much talking in English, not Japanese or whatever other language. I'm human. I make mistakes. But if you're going to correct me on saying it the "right" way, then please don't ever talk to me again, because there is literally no right way of saying it. Everyone says it a different way. Nobody is the same. Get over it. 

RANT OVER. 

Now excuse me while I go punch that person over there correcting me.
