Dorota's POV
My parents and I decided to go on a summer vacation. We decided to go to Tusla, Oklahoma. My parents already had some friends over there. It was a 23h drive. We had to go get gas and fix something in our car. So we found the DX gas station. My parents went to fix the car while i went to buy myself candy. That's when I saw him. A tall, blue eyed and brown almost black hair boy. My candy fell on the floor. I was mesmerized by him. He saw me picking up the candy and put down his magazine and came help me pick them up. I standed up at the same time as him and he looked at me. We looked at each other for a minute. It was love at first sight
Sodapop: Hi I'm Sodapop Curtis
Dorota: Nice to meet you. Im Dorota Kaganiec
S: Are you uh new in town?
D: Yeah i came to visit some family friends with my parents
S: Oh cool!
My parents came in with, i guess, the guy who fixed the car.
Mom: Dorota this is Steve. We're sleeping at his parents house.
D: Oh hey so nice to meet you
Steve: Pleasure to meet you
Sodapop: Oh stop acting like you're romantic.
St: This is Sodapop, my best friend
So and D: Oh we already met
We both laughed.
My dad: Why don't you hang out with Steve and Sodapop for the day. And then you and Steve could come home together.
D: Does it bother you?
St: No of course not. Were gonna go to Sodapop's house
D: Oh will that bother your parents Sodapop?
S: My parents passed away. But no of course not. You could meet my brothers and the rest of our friends. Oh and you can call me Soda
D: Oh I'm so sorry for your loss. And ok cool Soda
He grinned at me. He's so cute!
My parents: Ok bye and you can come back home late don't worry about it.
D: Ok thank you see you later!
