Merlin was the first one awake, which didn't come as much of a surprise to him at this point. So he sat taking in his surroundings as he waited for them all to wake up. Wherever Kilgharrah had sent them it was pitch black. So to try and create some light Merlin opened his palm facing up. "Leoht."

Before Merlin could look around he heard Kilgharrah speaking to him faintly. 'Merlin. I sense the druid boy. What would you have me do?'

Merlin thinks for a second before sighing. 'Send him in Kilgharrah.' Kilgharrah must've heard him because when Merlin started looking around he saw Mordred lying on the floor asleep like the rest. After a while he turned out his own light and sat in the dark.

Mordred was the next awake, probably his magic fighting off the spell. "Merlin? Where are we?"

Merlin looks around around again. "I'm not sure. A guide would've been nice, magic." The two sit in silence as the Knights start waking up one by one. Once everyone was awake a hole appeared in the darkness, letting in enough light, it also changed the area around them. Before they were in a dark pit of nothingness. But now they're in a dim cave with a couple unlit torches on the walls. Merlin sighs and starts walking. "I guess I'm the guide then. Thanks Kilgharrah." As Merlin starts walking towards the exit he turns around to see that the others aren't following. "You wanted the story right? Then follow me." Mordred and Gwaine, were quick to snap out of their trances.

The rest of the group followed quickly as Merlin walked towards the light. "So... what are we doing Merls?"

Merlin shrugged slightly. "Well the only place we can go is out here, so I assume when we get out of here the memory will start." He nodded quickly before making his way out of the cave with Merlin.

Once they were out of the cave, what they were met with was a slightly younger Merlin making his way towards Camelot. As well as the voice of Kilgharrah. Although Merlin informed him that he wasn't actually talking to them. "No young man, no matter how great, can know his destiny. He cannot glimpse his part in the great story that is about to unfold. Like everyone, he must live and learn. And so it will be for the young warlock arriving at the gates of Camelot.A boy that will in time, father a legend. His name: Merlin." Merlin walked through the lower town, taking in all the sights and sounds. But when he gets into the citadel, he is met with the sounds of horns blowing and drums pounding. Confused, Merlin makes his way into the crowd to see what was happening.

"Let this serve as a lesson to all. This man, Thomas James Collins, is adjudged guilty of conspiring to use enchantments and magic." Merlin leans back slightly at the words, scared for his own life. "And pursuant to the laws of Camelot, I, Uther Pendragon, have decreed that such practices are banned on penalty of death. I pride myself as a fair and just King. But for the crime of sorcery. There is but one sentence I can pass." Morgana watches the scene pitifully from her window. The executioner raises his axe in time with Uther's hand. Merlin, still partly unsure as to what was going on doesn't look away. Uther swings his hand down, and the axe follows it. The crowd gasp and the Lady Morgana looks away in disgust. "When I came to this land, this Kingdom was mired in chaos, but with the people's help, magic was driven from the realm. So I declare a festival. To celebrate twenty years since the Great Dragon was captured, and Camelot freed from the evil of sorcery. Let the celebrations begin." As the crowd begin to disperse a woman moans loudly from the back, causing Uther to turn back around.

"There is only one evil in this land and it is not magic. It is you. With your hatred and your ignorance. You took my son. I promise you, before these celebrations are over, you will share my tears. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. A son for a son!" Uther points towards and calls for his guards to seize her. But before they can even get near her she casts a spell and disappear. Leaving the crowd to disperse.
