Y/N POV:
Minutes turned to hours and hours became what seemed like a lifetime by this point the sky was tinted in bright orange and blooming reds ; it was sunset and a beautiful one as well. Everything the sky , the atmosphere seemed to become even more glorious with sunset amongst me. I felt like I belonged , belonged in Egypt somehow not my small town of California. I felt as if I knew this place; very well.
As I became entranced by the setting sun upon the desert to me it was the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. The skies became a canvas of just bright orange and reds with small bits of purples, and seascape blues. The sky looked like a sunflower golden surrounded by the most magical colors. It was a sunset one would only see in a world of fantasy .
I had been waiting for BF/N; they had gone to grab some food to take back to our hotel, I know I know "Why not just order room service?" well here is your answer "it was overly priced"
BF/N came back moments before we had to take our shuttle back to our hotel; he/she had brought probably the best Egyptian cuisine I have ever tasted; something known as "Kushary" I have never heard of it but boy was it mouth-watering.
Hours passed, we finally arrived at our hotel the ride felt like a lifetime. With our dinner in hand we made our way to our room, BF/N's parents were in their room ,they came back earlier than us to the hotel ; they had to leave on an expedition for a few days to uncover a lost world from the time of great kings. We finished our meal and BF/N was getting ready to bathe and get some sleep , I on the other hand thought I would check out the hotel it was to lovely to pass off, and find out if anyone can tell me any information on my necklace history.
As I strolled the lobby; and then made my way to the most beautiful garden I have ever seen I noticed a woman sitting on a bench under the moonlight quite middle - aged most likely in her early thirties but I wonder what she was doing outside in the dark. The woman began walking towards me and she seemed rather entranced by my necklace, seeing the necklace resting upon my chest , slightly weirded out I cautiously proceeded to ask her if she knew anything about my necklace and if she would be so kind as to provide information on it.
She quietly glanced up at me for a few seconds she uttered the words "You look Identical to Her" I was so confused I don't know what or who she was referring to. we locked eyes for sometime and then she opened her mouth yet again glancing once more at my necklace, "Your necklace has quite the story as well as this "hotel" as u call it.
I looked at my necklace than at the rather odd woman standing before me my eyes wide and my mouth fully agape. "Could you please tell me the story behind my necklace and this hotel?" she smiled slightly at me and ushered me to sit beside her and well I did, my curiosity got the best of me.
The moment I sat beside the strange woman whos name I did not even know , she proceeded to speak to me and tell me the story behind my necklace, I grasped it in my hand as she began her tale.
