Jerry: Yie, pa ! Pa, pwede po pakikuha ng toy ko, hindi ko po kasi maabot.

Phil: O ito...

Jerry: Yie ! Thank you pa. Para ka talagang Complex Sentence.

Phil: Bakit?

Jerry: 'coz i can't live without you and you complete me . I love you Pa :)

Complex sentence
-is composed of independent and dependent clauses.

Independent clause: express complete thought
Dependent clause: not a complete thought and can't stand alone.

Note: To know if the sentence is complex look for the dependent markers or subordinating conjunctions.

Here are the subordinating conjunctions:

after ,before , because, although, when, since , if , whenever, unless , while , that, eventhough, wherever.

Examples:

1.Eventhough we're apart, you are always in my heart.

dependent clause: Eventhough we're apart ( it can't stand alone, it is incomplete)
independent clause: You are always in my heart. ( can stand alone and complete)

2.I always feel blue whenever I don't see you.
3. I will not go unless you come.
