1.Common noun -noun that refers to people or things in general.
like for instance :
dog, cat, woman
2. Proper Noun-name of a particular person,place or things. It also begins wih a Capital LETTER. I will repeat it begins with a CAPITAL LETTER.

What is your name?
Your pet's name is an example of proper noun. Your name is also an example of proper noun.
3.Collective noun-refer to groups of people or things.
for example : team, choir, army
