Freed's POV

I bowed at master thanking him. I walked away from him and towards Laxus. He was sitting next to Evergreen and Elfman.

"I told you, Laxus, atleast tell her you need more time." Evergeen said. She turn and jolted." You scared me." She smiled. She patted the sit beside her and I thanked her.

"What were you talking about?" I asked. She looked at Laxus pissed. "If your talking about our relationship. Im fine, Ever. If he isnt ready to have a real relationship yet...due to the dramatic happenings that day. I can wait." I said.

"Its not that." Elfman said sighing." Its about..." he averted his eyes away from me.

"What?" I sighed.

"Its about the child." Laxus mumbled. "When you were talking to gramps Mira walked here and apologized. She told me about the baby..she wants to have an abortion." He looked away.

"Tell her not to! The baby is a living thing. If she decided to do that, tell her we'll adopt it!" I said angry. You could rip paper easily but you cant kill a child like that easily.

"Adopt?" Laxus looked at me.

"She and Jet could have another baby, does it look like we could?" I questioned Laxus. "Plus..I would love to have children." I smiled.

"Even if it isnt biologically yours?" Evergreen asked. I look at her and frown.

"Hey, the wounds still fresh, its a good idea." Elfman smiled. "But that little bundle of joy will be my nephew or niece." He sighed.

Laxus looked away and stood up. He walked towards the door. I stood and said goodbye to Elfmam and Evergeen.

"Laxus!" I said chasing him. He stopped.

"Im a disgusting person." He said. I made it to him and look at him face to face. "Making Mira pregnant, while I was still with you, I hurt you too much and yet your still beside me. Im a selfish person wanting only for my satisfaction."

"You just know?" I sarcastically said. He looked at me and looked away again. I sighed. "Laxus, you should know that no matter what, I love you. I told you everyday before bed, in the morning secretly, even when you hurt me. And even now." I smiled.

He smiled back and leaned in for a kiss but I realised something and backed away.

"And..Master gave us a mission." I said. He looked at me.

"Are you serious? But your healing." He said.

"After what we did last night? I think I could do a mission too, Laxus." I said. "Its just you and me.."

He looked at me. "Are you sure its a mission? And not a honeymoon?"

I smirked. "Its a mission. He said its a few days trip." I said. He nodded.

"When?" He asked.

I gave him a small paper master gave me.

"...next week?" He ask. I nodded. "Alright."

I turn around and started to walk.

"Where are you heading?" He asked.

"Home." I said. "Thats not where your going just now?"

He looked down and walk towards me. "I was going to visit Mira." He looked at me. "About the baby. You said you want to adopt it right?"

I looked at him shock. "But I thought..."

"I didnt techincally disagree." He shrugged. "Its just responsability is needed in this kind of situation. A big responsability."

"Well..its your responsability too." I said. "More to you..I just want to have a child of my own..but sadly I cant because Im bent."

He looked at me and frowned his eyebrow. "Im sorry." He looked away.

"I love you." I said walking to him. "Its okay. Now lets meet Mira." I tiptoed and kissed his cheeck grabbing his hand holding it tightly.

"you want to adopt it?" She asked. Jet sat beside her and I nod.

"I dont care if its not biogically mine. I would like to have part of the responsibilty of it if you dont want it." I said.

She looked at me with a frown. "Im sorry.' She looked down. "Im so sorry." I stood up and walk to her raising my hands and wrap them around her.

"Hey! Its okay!" I chuckled. I looked at her and wiped her tears rolling down her cheecks. " I hope you can give the baby to me and Laxus with a blessing."

Laxus stood up from his sit and walk towards us. I moved aside and he looked at Mira. " Im sorry." He mumbled hugging Mira. She smiled and hummed a yes-like hum.

She let go and look at both me and Laxus.

"Im sorry I hurt both you and Laxus, by breaking the bonds you two had before, I hope you two can take care of this child after I give birth to it." She said. I looked at her and looked at Laxus smiling.

"I'll pay for the cost." Laxus said.

"Excuse me sir, we'll pay for the cost." I said to him and he rolled his eyes.

"Im going to be the father in this family, so atleast let me pay for our child's costs." He argued.

"Mister Laxus, I, as the mother is partly responsibility too." I smirked.

I chuckled. Mira and Jet too letting out a laugh.

We thanked both Jet and Mira. We said goodbye and headed out, we decided to go back to the guild to tell good news to both Elfman and Evergreen. Laxus and I walked through the cold evening silently. I took peeked at him with a smile and he caught me in the act.

"Am I that attractive?" He asked. I chuckled and sigh.

"I just dont want it to be awkward in the mission later. I mean we already know eachother too well." I said looking away.

"There are things that I haven't told you yet. Like how I felt for the past months when you were gone with Bixlow and what missions I did that were not with you." He replied. I smiled at him and agreed. " I just want you to know how is it that we're in this situation now."

"Like how you got with Mira?" I asked him. He twithced. I looked at and held his hand. "Its okay if you dont want to talk about it. Im not going to force you."

"you should know abouit this..you should because Im selfish to over think about the situation at that time." He looked at me smiling not widely but it made me understand that this part of the story will atleast make me understand why it happen and how is it partly me to blame.

I nodded giving my permission to tell the story.
