The moonlight illuminated the Edo streets.
I breathed out a puff of smoke enjoying the cool breeze. The door to Yorozuya slid open I could hear his footsteps approach me and a strong arm wrap around my waist.
"Can't sleep?" his head rested in the crook of my neck, his warm breath tickled my skin."No" I spoke softly
"Something on your mind?" He held me tighter his soft wavy locks brushing against my ear.
"Thinking about ...." my grip on the smoke pipe tightened it had only been a week but it's been too long since I've been in Yoshiwara."Yoshiwara will be fine Tsukki" he read my mind, he kisses my neck softly, the hairs on my arm stood up...only he could make me feel this way.
"Gintoki my women have been without there leader for too long, I have to get back" I faced him, he hid his eyes with his hair."Someone else can lead them, their strong women, what happened to you staying with me Tsukuyo?" He sighed and let go of me.
"Gin...I-I have to go back why don't you come back with me?" I held onto his arm
"You know I can't, I have Yorozuya to run" he glanced at the name hanging over the door.
We stood there in silence for a while just looking into each other's eyes..."Gin"
"Tsukuyo"
"Go" he held me tight.
A tear streamed down my cheek and as always Gin was there to wipe my tears away.
He gave me a small smile.I walked back in and packed my stuff 'what are you thinking Tsukuyo! You're finally with him and your leaving...' I gave a heavy sigh I want to stay here but Yoshiwara Isn't going to protect its self. I walked back to the door where Gintoki stood waiting for me. I could see the pain in his eyes.
"Bye Gintoki"
Tsu-" I kissed him deeply, I held the side of his face tenderly.~~~~~~
Yoshiwara
I looked down at the busy streets filled with drunk men and multiple women on their arms.
The day I left Gintoki was a month ago I hadn't seen him since."Tsukuyo he's here again" one of the Hyakka women knelt before me
"Tell him I'm busy" I looked back out the window
"He's going to come back to tomorrow"
"And you will tell him the same thing" I looked at her and she nodded. It had been I month since I had seen Gintoki not because he was away on his ventures with Kagura and Shinpachi and not because I was busy but because I was avoiding him.I couldn't bear to see his pained expression again and I knew if I saw him I would go back with him.
"Tsukuyo he's gone, why don't you talk to Gintoki? He's worried about you"
"There's nothing to say..." I told her
"If you keep avoiding him he'll stop visiting" she placed a hand on my shoulder. "Tsukuyo go and be with the man you love, we are fine you don't have to worry about Yoshiwara"
"..." I stayed silent
~~~~~~Later that night while the women were on watch I went to Yorozuya.
I stood outside the door hesitating to knock and then I heard a rumble inside and went over to the window to take a peak.
It was Sarutobi! I spotted the distinct wavy hair resting on her shoulder.
"What is she doing with Gintoki?"
And his hands shifted all the way down her back to her ass. I pulled out my kunai "that bitch better get her hands off my Gin-chan" I was about to break through the window but then I thought "what if he's moved on...I've been avoiding him for so long" I put my kunai away and went back to Yoshiwara.I only had myself to blame.
Tomorrow I will pay a visit to Sarutobi...
