Gintoki x Tsukuyo

The next morning came around, my head was spinning.
I got out from under the covers, as soon as I stood up a wave of nausea took over me. I ran over to the toilet and vomited "morning sickness?" I walked over to the shower, the warmth of the water made me feel a bit better.

I rubbed my stomach thinking of what reaction Gintoki would have and then the image of Sarutobi would pop up...."I'll buy a pregnancy test to be sure"

After showering there was a knock at my door, I wrapped up in my robe and tried to dry my hair quickly before opening the door.

"Boss?"
"Tsukuyo " He smiled looking at me, his eyes scanned my figure.
"I'm sorry to disturb you this early but I couldn't stop thinking about you..." he walked in and stood an inch away from me.
"Boss I don't think this is-"
"Tsukuyo do you believe in love at first sight?"

"Yes but -"
"That's how I feel about you" he ran his finger across my cheek closing the gap between us.
"I've never seen a woman as beautiful as you" he presses his lips against my neck...why don't I move?

"I-I'm in love with another man" I told him
"Hmmm would that be Gin, I heard you say his name yesterday" I could see the sadness in his eyes
"Yes, please leave"
"I'm sorry" he walked out and I locked the door behind him.

My fingers touch the side of my neck the feeling of his lips lingered there 'why did he do that?'

Later that day I got the pregnancy test.
I took it out of the box and stared at for a couple of seconds 'if I am pregnant I'll have to go back and see Gintoki' I thought,  but at the same I was scared. This baby could break up his relationship with Sarutobi and I don't want to be the reason they break up 'maybe I shouldn't go and see him?'
I sighed and used the pregnancy test and placed it on the bathroom sink.

After a few minutes, I looked at the symbols
"P-Positive!" A mixture of emotions took over but I was happy....I was going to be a mum!

*knock knock*
"Tsukuyo it's time to get ready!"
"Okay give me 5 minutes"

"More sake!! More sake!!!" The male customers were going crazy I decided I didn't want to work in the room as I would have to drink the alcohol so instead, I did some waitressing.

"2 more bottles of Sake!" I placed them on the table.
"Thank you pretty lady" He slurred his words
"Why don't you join us!" He pulled my arm
"No today" I politely declined
"Come on have some fun" He pulled harder causing my foot to slip I braced my self for impact on the hard table. I soon realised that I stopped moving someone had their arm around my waist.

"Oi! Old man that not how you treat beautiful women" the man tightens his grip on the old man arm, the man screamed out in pain as he let go of my arm "even if she's more terrifying than a demon don't touch her with your filthy hands, because she's my woman and I'll kill you!" He spoke with venom in his voice, I looked up seeing that familiar silver hair and white and blue kimono with that wooden sword attached to his side "G-Gintoki" my voice cracked

"Tsukki" he looked at me with the softest expression  I've ever seen from him.
He was about to speak but the Boss appeared "what do you think you're doing? And let go of Tsukuyo!"
I could see Gin reach for his sword "wait! Gintoki" I held his hand 

"I see this is the man you're in love with..."  the Boss stepped back
"Yes so please don't fight...Gintoki this is my boss, more importantly, we need to talk" I guided  Gintoki back to my room.

"There's something I-" before I could even get the words out his lips crashed against mine and I melted into it.
"Don't ever leave me again" he whispered, resting his forehead against mine.
"I thought you moved on..."
"What!"
"You stopped visiting me at Yoshiwara and then Sarutobi-"
"I stopped coming because I had to leave, Kagura, Shinpachi and I had some business on another planet but you never came to see me...I visited you every day since you left to go back there and you never came out to see me I thought you didn't love me anymore"

"I do love you Gintoki! I was just scared to face you after seeing your face when I left and how heartbroken you were...I did go to Yorozuya and then I saw Sarutobi and you, I thought you moved on with her and she told me you two were dating so I left"

"Dating! No never Tsukuyo...your the only person my heart can love" he kisses me tenderly
"Well there's one more thing you should know...I'm pregnant"
His eyes widened and then sparkled in the moonlight "this is everything I've wanted...we're starting a family" he placed his hand on my stomach "I'm going to be a dad..." tears started falling down his cheeks "Gintoki..." I kissed him and he wrapped his hands around my waist.

"Let's go home"
