Eight months seemed like a long time ago. But I still clearly remember that night we spent at your house when something great happened. That was also the night I realized that I loved you.

You invited me over to your place and we ended up finishing three boxes of pizza and multiple bags of chips while watching How I Met Your Mother. We were also telling each other stuff we didn’t know about each other and when I told you that I had never kissed anyone before, you kind of just sat there in shock. Then two seconds later you just smash your lips against mine and there were sparks flying everywhere. I didn’t really know if you felt anything as well but that kiss meant so much to me.

We ended up making out for a few minutes until your mom knocked on your door saying that the TV was too loud and that it was almost midnight.

We kept that little kiss a secret for a few weeks until you just brought it up again out of nowhere. I thought you were going to ask me out or something but what you said just let my heart shatter a bit.

You told me that we needed to forget about that kiss. I asked you why but you just shook your head and gave me some stupid reason about not wanting the fans to know that something like that happened between us. It wasn’t even noticeable that we kissed so I don’t see why you wanted to forget about it. There were no pictures or videos and I tried to come up with a valid reason to why you wanted to forget about it.

Was it because you wanted to keep thing platonic between the both of us? Maybe you didn’t like the kiss? Or maybe you didn’t want to ruin our friendship?

After you told me that, I just wanted to yell at you and tell you that I love you. I know that we had only known each other for two months at that time but that kiss made my true feelings for you burst like a bubble. But guess what, Luke? Even though you told me not to forget about that kiss, I thought about it every night. And I never stopped falling in love with you even more after that.
