...Shit. I didn't expect for him to get to her so early. Sigh. The things I do. I turned my head towards Rose's direction to see her looking up at the front the front with a bored expression.
Ms.Hardel, our art teacher, was telling us directions to notice me not bothering to listen.
"I want you and your buddy next to you- most of the kids started to complain- to make a scenery of your favorite place."
There was an uproar of complaints which lead to the teacher shouting out. "Quiet down now! Begin with your work!"
I turned my head towards to see her head down,sketching on the table. I decided to do something for once. I cleared my throat to get her attention. She lift her head up only to look into my eyes with those emerald eyes of hers.
"Hmm?"she asked.
"What do you wanna draw?"
She seemed to be in deep thought for about a minute, with an thinking face that made her look her cute. "How about our little place we go to almost every week?" she asked.
I thought about it for a moment. It wasn't a bad idea. The thing was that it was that it was our secret little place. "I guess." I said while sighing.
Her eyes seemed to light up by my answer. "Oh goodie!" She took off humming happily to go get our papers. She came back with our papers and put them down on the table. "So you draw, i color?" she asked.
I nodded my head, seeming to not use my words.
"ok"

Throughout the whole period, me and Rose was cracking jokes, and having fun. It was like the conversation never happened. Which is what I like about Rose. She likes to put stuff to the side and look at the bright side.
"Shadow?"
"Hmm?" I looked down at Rose, to see her with an worried expression on her face.
"I need your opinion on something..." she looked down and started playing with her fingers. "do you....do you think I should go to that party tonight?" She was hesitating.
"..." It was quiet while we were walking to her next class, I was thinking about what happened in gym, and how I didn't want it to happen again. There would be a chance that Scrouge would be there, n I don't wanna risk her getting hurt.
It took me a second to notice we were in front of her class. I think I know my answer.
Rose was the first to speak."I'll see you after school okay?"
"hmm.."
"What is it?"
"No." I whispered.
"What? Shado-"
"I said 'No'" I turned and walked away to my next class.
