The storm was wreaking havoc across the sea in the way to the Deadlands. The winds tore at the sails and waves crashing into the ships wooden frame, pushing it side to side.
Lighting struck downwards from between the clouds as thunder roared louder than anything else.
The crew of the Scarlet maiden struggled to keep the ship steady even with the mages help.
'IS THERE NO SIGN OF IT YET??!!' 'WHAT??'
'I SAID IS, IS THERE NO SIGN OF THE DEADLANDS YET??'
'I DUNNO! I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING IN THIS DAMN STORM!!'
Eldarin stood below deck constantly focusing on keeping the wind barrier around the ship to keep it from falling apart.
As the crew fought the terrified scream of one of the sailors caught the attention of others. A massive wave, rising much higher than the ship was heading straight towards them. Rainar called forth a light beam out of his staff and severed the wave on two, saving the galleon from being dragged below surface.
As the ship floated past the two waves some of them started seeing land appearing ahead, illuminated for an instance every time a lighting strike came in that direction.
'WE'RE ALMOST THERE!!' 'ITS NO USE MAGE!! THE STORM IS TRYING TO DRAG US BACK TO SEA!' 'NOT IF I CAN HELP IT!'
Rainar bent the water underneath the ship raising it above the waves. The crew held on for dear life as the ship suddenly flew forward, riding on a artificial wave at high speed. The land got clearer and clearer as they approached, as if rising out of the water, its mountains looming over them as if sending a warning. But before they reached the landmass a massive serpent head rose out of the water. Rainar had to no time slow down and the ship crashed straight into the basilisk. Crashing into it with such force toppled the ship and everyone on deck was thrown off.
Eldarin was knocked unconscious slamming his head into the wall. As he was out of it the ship began to sink, water pouring from any entrance.
As everything seemed lost a panicked Leina tackled the door and broke it open spotting her friend on the floor. She grabbed his cloak with her teeth and held on, trying to drag him to safety. In still panic she searched everywhere for Elena, where was her long life companion Elena??
'LEEEIINAA!!' she quickly followed the voice to the storage room. The screaming voice came behind some boxes that had fallen over. The dire wolf easily knocked them aside finding her redheaded companion. 'Thanks girl! Where..'
She saw Eldarin with her. Elena shook him and yelled at him to wake up. After a desperate slap his eyes opened.
'Eldarin! You gotta get up we're sinking!'
'Shit..'

The Scarlet maiden shot out of the ocean as if something had thrown it. The ones inside were saved but as for the rest..
WHERE ARE THEY??! I CANT SEE ANYTHING!!' the party started getting desperate. Everywhere they looked it was just water.
Just...dark....violent..ocean water.
Rainar...he couldn't die like this...
'THE OCEAN HAS THEM NOW!' 'WOULD YOU RATHER WE LEAVE THEM!?' 'THERES NOTHING WE CAN DO! I'M SORRY BUT WE NEED TO SAVE THIS SHIP OR ELSE WE'RE GONNA JOIN THEM IN THE UNDERWORLD!!'
As Elena looked around frantically she froze when she saw the being that stood on their ship. Blue glowing eyes and a body clearly made out of water. A sea elf was standing on their ship!
