After all of that happened, I felt bad about what I said. In all honesty, I wasn't trying to be so rough with Luna, but I had to get my point across. That look - the light fading from her eyes - I didn't mean to make her feel that way. Even though she can't feel pain, it still hurt me to know that I scared her. Time to fix this.

The pale girl was curled up on her bed in a fettle position, shaking. Slowly, I approached, taking extreme caution not to frighten her anymore. When I tried talking to her, she refused to respond. Fortunately, I had come up with a new plan. Actions speak louder than words, so I took her to the parlor and cleared the area. I was going to tell her how I feel... through dancing. Things started to get tough really fast when a dancing suit of clothes made its way into the room. Millard! Did he think were having a dance party or something of that nature?

As more people came into the room, the dance that I had prepared for the lovely lady in white turned into an all-out dance party. I guess that's how the butterfly effect works.

Roxanne' POV:

Suddenly, the sound of a gramophone playing music resounded throughout the house. Was there a party going on? And if there was, why wasn't I invited? As I made my way into the parlor; the music rose from a trickle to a roar in volume. Movement was impeded by all of the people dancing. Finally, when I had crossed the raging torrent, I took a seat and I found my love sitting on the couch. The sparkle in his eyes had really dulled down and his eyebrows were firmly knitted together.

"What's wrong, Vic?" My voice was that of a mother trying to lift her child's spirit. At the sound of my voice, he gazed deeply into my eyes, making me feel like my insides were melting.

"I can't dance," he said, being completely blunt. That's one of the things I like about him. He never sugarcoats his problems. All he does is be as straight as a post when it comes to his issues. This makes it easy for me to help him, because it takes me less time to problem solve.

"You can't dance," I said back, confirming his words.

He only nodded his head, looking back at the other kids.

"I think I know how to fix your problem. Don't worry. I just need to get something from my hotel room."

~Time skip~

Victor was shocked when I came back to the loop with a record that he had never seen before. It was my favorite record by the king himself, Elvis Presley. Of course, everyone else started freaking out when I took the needle off and replaced the record they were listening to with my own.

As soon as the sound of the king filled the room, Doctor Enoch-Stein covered his ears. "Wot is tha' racket?!" He shouted.

"That's called rock-and-roll, Eliza Doolittle. It's what people listen to in 1966."

"It sounds laike rubbish!"

"You get used to it after a while. Come on, Vic. Do you wanna learn how to dance?"

"Yup."

"First, let's see what we're working with."

The moment my boyfriend started to move, my eyeballs wanted to roll back into my head so that they wouldn't have to witness it anymore. The movements were as sloppy as my brother's handwriting. There was no doubt in my mind that it needed fixing.

"Here. Let me show you how I dance."

I did my best. My hips swayed to the music. My limbs were in perfect sync with each other. Everything about my movements felt perfect. The sound of rock-and-roll (specifically the king) was enough to feed the primal beast inside of me.

"Only an animal would like this music!" Horace shouted.

I couldn't help but laugh at what he just said. "Actually, humans technically are animals. I can see why you think I'm more animal than you, though."

Reluctantly, Victor began to dance again. Despite my instruction, he was still doing poorly. This needed a new tactic behind it. A breath left my mouth like a calming wind as I shut my eyes. "Just try to feel the music."

"But, what if-" he started.

"If you keep doubting yourself like that, you'll truly fail. Listen, the only way you really succeed is if you try. If you fail the first time, just get back up and try again."

And that's what he did. Pretty soon, his dancing had improved greatly. I started dancing along with him and the rest soon followed, even those who had refused to dance before. I guess a lot of them are like lemmings following the leader. Luna locked arms with Lance as they started to spin around the floor. Claire was shuffling with Olive in a corner. Even Horace was nodding his head to the music.

I love everyone here. Though there are tensions between a few of them, they all are like one big happy family. All of them were like my brothers and sisters, except for Victor. I love him more than any sibling bond. I think I might want to spend the rest of my life with him, but... our time in Cairnholm is almost over. What will I do?

A/N: Hello, my dreamers. How are you today? If you're having a bad day today, I'm hoping that this cheers you up and puts smiles on your faces. Of course, this yet another filler chapter, but things are going to get more plot relevant again in the next one.

The song I used for this chapter is There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back by Shawn Mendes. The reason I chose that song for this chapter is because it reminds me of Victor and Roxanne's relationship told from Victor's perspective.

What did you think of this chapter? Please vote and comment as much as you please. Until next time, this is Aislynn, Queen of Dreams, signing out.
