Chanyeol's P.O.V

"Fuck, Chan, wake up!" I heard a familiar voice say.

"J.. Joohyun?" I asked weakly. Bae Joohyun, or Irene as we call her, is the leader of Red Velvet, a group under my company as well.

I was close with Red Velvet, but couldn't meet them as much, due to our fans and the dating scandals.

My fans didn't know that I was gay. I was very good at keeping it hidden, and I think the fact that I was a soloist also helped it stay hidden.

Had I been in a group, it might've been more chaotic to hide my sexuality.

Let's be honest, a lot of SM idols were gay, including Red Velvet and I.

Irene and one of her group members, Seulgi, had come out and said that they were dating around a year ago.

Their fans were actually acceptant of them, but maybe that's because they're from the same group.

I wish I could do that, find love, but I can't. The whole goal of being an idol, is appearing to be available, for the public to see and judge you.

It was extremely stressful, but can we really say no to it?

We can't.

The moment we sign our contracts, that's when shit goes downhill. You're immediately dependant on a bunch of people you don't know.

It seems like the dream, but it's a nightmare.

I opened my eyes to try and look at Irene, but my head was throbbing too hard. I felt a warm hand on my cheek.

I'm guessing it was Seulgi's hand, and I was correct. Her hands were always warm. I tried looking at Irene once again, and this time I succeeded in turning my head to look at her.

She had a worried expression on her face, Seulgi looked sad, Wendy and Sooyoung had teary eyes while Yerim had covered half of her face with her hands after taking a good look at me.

I understand though, they weren't used to seeing this.

They were used to the tall, happy go lucky boy with pointy ears, who was always ready for a good old hug and a smile on his face.

I missed that boy too.

After Seulgi had removed her hand from my cheek, two men immediately busted through the door.

"We heard what happened, and came as soon as possible. Chanyeol, are you okay?" The deer looking one said.

That's Shim Changmin, and the other one is Jung Yunho. Two of the many legends under my company, TVXQ.

I hadn't paid attention to their intertwined hands, due to skin-ship between SM idols in the same group was normal.

I knew that they were more than just group mates though. I was surprised that no fans had raided the hospital yet, since the girls came without face masks and only their caps, while Changmin and Yunho came without anything really.

It all seriously started getting crazy, when all of the rookies came into the hospital room as well.

My manager was overwhelmed, and so were my mother and the doctors.

We were more than twenty people in one room, and no person has realised that we all were here yet.

I was honestly just waiting for some of my friends to come into the hospital room, and to my surprise, they did.

Not all of them, but the closest ones did. Jongdae, Minseok, Kris, Junmyeon, Luhan, Sehun, Yixing, Tao, Kyungsoo and Jongin, they were all here.

"L-Luhan? S-Sehun? I thought you guys w-were in China, as well as Y-Yixing and Tao?" I asked, weakly.

"Well we heard what happened, and came as quickly, as we could. Chanyeol what the hell were you thinking?" Luhan immediately replied.

Even though it was Junmyeon whom we dubbed as the mom, Luhan still had motherly instincts as well, they just didn't come out as much.

"I.." I didn't want to answer, I didn't know what to answer either.

I couldn't tell them why, because I didn't know.

My manager told the girls, the two oldest guys and the rookies to leave the room, so my friends and I could talk in private.

Also because they went to the hospital in the middle of their schedule. Every rookie bid me good luck, and so did the girls.

Changmin dried a tear from my cheek, and waved goodbye, whilst Yunho gave me a nod before eventually following his lover.
