"Justin"

Before me laid a woman with dark black hair and pitch black eyes, something about her looked familiar, but I couldn't quite say what. She cocked her head as if she was trying to figure something out.

"They have stolen your memories."

I saw the strain as she leaned forward and touched my forehead. I gasped as everything came back to me, the dream, her warning me, and then someone, or something, sticking a needle into me.

"They know about me"

I finally took in her appearance again, but there was something... different about her. She looked almost exactly the same, except now, her dress had started to turn black. The hem was splotched with a colour I could only call evil and dark, and small black dots were speckled over her.

"We don't have much time"

Her face had paled and her hair had somehow became an even darker shade of black. She looked tired, as if she had hardly slept that night, dark circles and dark bags hung from her eyes, and the movement that was behind them had slowed down, getting harder to notice.

"Remember that-"

Ouch, I felt as something hit me in the back of my head, I slowly opened my eyes realising that I was in the middle of maths class and someone had thrown a piece of paper at me. I sighed angrily, I mean come on, she was about to tell me something! I wondered why she kept coming to me, she obviously had something to tell me but was speaking in all these riddle so I couldn't understand her. It would be so much easier if she just TOLD me.

"Justin Matthews, could you please report to the Principal's office"

Everyone stared at me as I slowly got up,not knowing what was going on. I left the class and started walking there, but I wondered why they would call me there? As far as I knew, I hadn't done anything wrong... I think. Was it something to do with my family? Was Andrew in the hospital again? I walked up to the door marked "Principal", took a deep breath and walked inside.

Out of everything I thought of, it didn't occur to me that the man in black might be there again, I got a better look at him this time. He was about 170cm, with a skinny frame, and although he looked human enough (Two legs, two arms etc.) there was something completely alien about him. Apart from the black morph suit he was wearing, his movements and the way he stood were just somehow different to how a human would act. His face was covered and he seemed to have no sign of a mouth or nose through the clingy material. The Principal stood next to him giving me a knowing look, he gave the man in black a nod and he leapt forward with that same needle, but the liquid was a different colour this time, and injected me.

I passed out.

I could hear people talking around me. I tried to sit up but couldn't move, there was nothing holding me down, but I just seemed to be unable to move anything on my whole body. I tried to focus on the voices. It sounded like two people, one with a strong Russian accent, I focused on what they were saying, hearing the Russian start to talk.

"She's there in his dreams."

"It could be nothing-"

"But it could be something. You do remember what happened the last time she was in someone's dreams don't you?"

"Yes but-"

"No but's, we have to get her out of his mind before she does anything."

If I could have moved I would have frowned, they seemed to be talking about the girl in my dreams. I wondered what they knew about her cause I had no idea who she was or what she was doing in my head.

"Sir, what if we... can't get her out."

Get her out? They were trying to get rid of her? I wasn't really sure if I wanted her out or not, she obviously had something important to tell me, but whenever I saw her these... people kept taking me. Then I remembered what she told me "Don't trust them, They are not what they seem." I wondered, is this the "them" she was talking about?

"We will, we must."

"The boy is strong at resisting sir, we had to put a full sized needle in him sir, and even then his memories could still be brought back."

"Don't worry about the boy, it's the girl we have to focus on."

I focused all of my energy into opening my eyes so I could look around the room and see who this "them was". Finally after a few minutes of putting all my energy into this they fluttered open. I seemed to be lying down on a metal bed in the middle of a white room. The walls were completely bare, I couldn't identify where the door was, and the room was empty other than the bed I was on. The floor was shiny, reflecting the white off the walls. The only noticeable thing about the room was that at one side, there was a mirror. I could still hear the voices talking about me and tried to find where they were coming from. I followed the sound and saw that it was coming from... the mirror? Really? But how is that- then it hit me, they had a one-way mirror meaning that I couldn't see them, but they could see me meaning that they could see my eyes open right now. That was when I became aware that the voices had stopped, I quickly shut my eyes hoping they hadn't seen me and were just finished with their conversation.

I heard their footsteps come up to one of the walls in the room and heard a whoosh of air as something slid open. The one without the accent started to talk.

"Hey Justin, we know you're awake."

"We're just going to give you a little needle that will make all of this go away/Doesn't that sound good? Don't worry it won't hurt."

He definitely lied about that needle, because as soon as he stuck it in my neck an excruciating pain shot throughout my whole body and I collapsed from the pain, blacking out.

I woke up in my bed wondering what I was doing there, last thing I remembered I was almost falling asleep in maths class. I noticed that my Mum was in the room with me.

"Hey honey, I'm so glad your awake," she told me.

"Ergh, what happened? How did I get here?" I asked having no idea what was going on.

She smiled at me sweetly, "The school said you might not be able to remember what happened, apparently you fainted in class and hit your head pretty hard. The nurse looked at you and said that you were just extremely tired and needed some sleep so they brought you home and you get the day off and are exempt off all of today's homework."

I smiled at her weakly realising I actually was really tired, I told her I just wanted some more sleep so she left the room and I fell into a blissful, dreamless sleep.
