Eric woke up at 7 o'clock to get ready for school. He did his morning routine and was out the door by 7:20. Ella and Eric started talking about how their weekend went. Ella just did homework and applied for more colleges. She was destined to go to UCLA but just in case she applied for the University of Minnesota too. Eric talked about how his weekend was homework, working and getting Chris's number. Ella was shocked but she knows her best friend to well. "I knew you liked him"! Shouted Ella. "Okay maybe a little but could you not shout it". Whispered Eric. "Oh sorry, it's just been that you haven't had a crush in like 3 years". said Ella. "I know I was surprised too". said Eric.
They two finally got to class. History was boring as usual. Math was okay, thanks to seeing Chris. The school day seemed long but it finally ended. Chris walked up to Eric and asked him if he wanted to go to the library with him to study. As Eric said sure, Chris was already grabbing his hand to go. Ella saw Eric being dragged by his crush made the girl squeal a little. She was happy that her friend finally found someone who made him happy.
Chris and Eric sat at a small table while doing their trigonometry homework. They stayed at the library for about 2 hours. It was 5 pm and the two boys were getting hungry and tired. Chris offered to walk Eric home and so they did. They walked for 15 minutes talking about random things like music, food, and school. They finally arrived at Eric's house at 5:30. They quickly said their goodbyes and Chris left. Eric watched him walk until he couldn't see him anymore.
He finally went into the house and said height to his mom. "So.. who's that guy"? his mom asked. "Just a friend" replied Eric. "Ha! Just a friend! Please"! Shouted his mother with a great big smile on her face. "Mom! Please don't say anything"! "Okay, okay I won't but I do want to hear everything so go wash up for dinner.
