Ch.2 The Trouble With Me

 ~Pay attention, loves, might be some foreshadowing in here ^___^ and minor angst~

​   "Armin, you walk slow." I said as I stopped for him to catch up AGAIN

   "Sorry, Eren. Today's training left me completely worn out." He caught up to me and yawned while rubbing his right eye 

   "Armin, you're adorable and so lucky you're my best friend." He gave me a questioning look and I wagged my eyebrows in response

   "EREN!!!" I laughed as he blushed and covered his face with his hands. This wasn't the first time he's made me outright question my sexual preference 

   "Owww!!!!" I blinked myself out of my daydream to see Armin on the ground, tearing up 

   "Armin what the hell happened to you now??" I kneeled next to him and held his head in my lap so he could think a little better

   "I tripped over that rock." He pointed at the rock and winced 

   "Something's wrong with my ankle.." We looked and noticed it swollen and a little red.

   "Guess I'll have to carry you again." He blushed again as I picked him up. He wrapped his arms around my neck

   "Are you sure you can hold me??" I laughed 

   "Armin, you practically weigh nothing." He rested his head against my chest and wiped away the tears on his cheeks. I walked into the infirmary and the nurse started going off

   "That is improper!!! Put him down at once!!! This is an infirmary, not your honey moon suite!!" We both blushed and I stammered out

   "H-he hurt his ankle..." She sighed and got up

   "Rest him on the bed by the window." I put him down gently, not wanting to do more damage than progress. She walked over and started to inspect his ankle. I retreated to Mikasa, who was sitting up and had eyes full of worry

   "What happened??" She asked immediately 

   "He tripped over a rock and this happened." I gestured towards him win my hand. The nurse left for a second and I went to talk to Armin about his ankle 

   "What did she say??"

   "I twisted my ankle badly. She's looking for pain killers and something to wrap it up in now." She walked back in after a minuet had passed 

   "Bad news, boys, we need more mediation and wrap and the majority of our medical supplies was stored in Wall Maria, seeing how so many doctors lived there. But, we aren't getting another shipment from Wall Sina until tomorrow." Armin started freaking out 

   "You know, it's ok. I'm feeling better now that I've laid down." He tried to stand and almost fell face first onto the ground. Luckily I caught him before he could

   "You need to stay, and that right there was proof." Mikasa said

   "But I'll miss so much!!!" 

   "Armin, you'll be okay. You're smart enough to miss a day and still be fine." I smiled at him and he nodded after a bit

   "Now that that's taken care of, here. I can give you this for the pain in the mean time." The nurse named him a glass of warm milk. That always makes him drowsy. She took the cup and left to go clean it

   The nurse left us the rest of visiting hours to just talk. I found a chair and placed it between their beds so we could all talk. Two hours went by and we didn't notice at all. We only noticed when the nurse started yelling at me to leave

   "I'll see you guys tomorrow!!!!" I called over my shoulder as she slammed the door

   I walked out into the crisp night air and turned the corner. I smashed into someone solid but smaller than me. We both fell flat on our ass'es. I got up and dusted myself off. I went to extend a the stranger, but they were already on their feet

   "Watch where you're going, shithead!!" I was dealing with a man from the tone of voice. I opened my mouth to say something back to defend myself, but was struck speechless as he moved out of the shadows

   "You know who you're dealing with. Good. Now, close your mouth and listen up," My jaw snapped shut with an audible click, "Make sure this doesnt happen again or I'll kick your ass so hard, training will seem like kitten play." He glared at me and continued on his way

   In all truth, I had no idea who he was. It was obvious that he wasn't a trainee, though, and that he held some posotion of power....and that he's extremely good looking. Damn attractive midget. I ran back to the infirmary window. Armin should know who he is. Luckily, the window was cracked open a little

   "Armin....wake up...." I kept shaking him and he groggily opened his eyes to look at me

   "Eren... Eren what's wrong??" He suddenly looked alert when he saw my flushed face. Why did I run....I was only a few feet away from the window....

   "Nothing's wrong, I just needed to know something...."

   "Couldn't it of waited until morning??" He yawned as if to emphasize his point

   "Maybe, but you're awake now so I'll tell you." I launched into my encounter with Mr. Shortstack 

   "Oh!! You must be talking about Lance Corporal Levi." He said after a minute of thought

   "Levi.." I tested the name out on my lips. We heard footsteps coming down the staircase and a voice. The nurse

   "Bye, Armin, I'll see you tomorrow!!" I whisper yelled and took off. I didn't remember even entering the room until I face planted into my pillow

   "Hey, Jaeger, where's Armin?? Is Mikasa ok??" I flipped him off and continued ignoring him

   "Don't get so pissy because you're such a trouble magnet." I rolled over and sat up

   "I'd rather be that than a horse-faced idiot" I smirked as his face started getting red. He was about to retaliate when we got the lights out call. I heard a whole bunch of movement while everyone scrambled to their beds. I quietly climbed onto the top bunk and sighed. 

   I moved so I could see the stars better. I couldn't help but think of mom. She loved star gazing. I couldn't help the tear that slid down from my eye. I stiffled the sniffle in my pillow and instead thought of Levi. That damn attractive midget.

   My dreams were confused. I dreamt of my mother being eaten again, not to weird. But then I dreamed I WAS a titan, and I punched that titan who ate my mother right in the face. I beat it to oblivion. Then it changed and I was running through a forest, still a titan, and Mikasa, Armin, and Corporal Levi were all on 3DMG, swinging along side me. I woke up with tears on my cheeks and a huge smile on my face. That's never happened before
