Chapter 28

~2030~

[The cabin is seen with lights on]

[Lexa is kneed right next to her sister, Lanys, who is barely breathing. Lexa looks to the side and Peter is there sleeping]

Lexa: (softly) I can't believe how much the world has changed, for everyone.

[Lexa takes a deep breath and looks back at her sister]

Lexa: (softly) Lanys, I need you to fight for your life, do not give up.

[Lexa keeps looking at her sister]

Lexa: (softly) remember you promised me we would find a way to save our sister, so don't you give up so easily.

[Lexa touches Lanys' face and continues talking]

Lexa: (softly) you've always been a guardian angel to me and I can't lose you too, sis. Come on, wake up, so we can protect Mister together.

[Lexa takes another deep breath and looks to the ceiling]

Lexa: (softly) Mom, Dad, I know you're up there watching over us, just guide your daughter back to me.

[Suddenly, Lanys opens her eyes and takes a deep breath and Lexa looks at her surprised]

Lexa: (surprised) you're awake!!!

Lanys: ....

[Lexa holds her sister]

Lexa: Just take a deep breath, it's going to be okay, sis.

[Lanys takes deep breaths and looks at Lexa]

Lanys: (slowly) I...thought...I...was...dead.

[Lexa puts a sad face]

Lexa: (saddened) almost.

Lanys: (slowly) ...what...happened?

Lexa: Well, you protected Mister, but by doing so you got stabbed in the back by that stupid axe.

[Lexa points to the axe that is on the floor near them]

Lanys: (faintly) what?

Lexa: Yeah, but Mister had some antidote or potion or something that cured your wound and you're still alive.

[Lexa hugs Lanys]

Lexa: It's good that you're still alive, I don't know what I would've done without you.

Lanys: (slowly) where...is..Mister?

[Lexa looks to the side and kind of points where Mister is sitting and Lanys looks at him and notices that he is asleep]
