Chapter 21

           

~ 20 YEARS AGO~

[Peter is seen well-dressed wearing a nice suit and he is sitting in an undistinguished office and he has his cellphone on his ear]

Peter: Yeah, Alex, they postponed the wedding.

[You could hear Alex's voice through the phone]

Alex: That's awesome news, which means...

Peter: (interrupts) nothing. I don't want to think about that, I'm thinking about this interview I have now for a English teaching job.

Alex: Are you nervous?

Peter: No. I'm okay.

Alex: Well, if you need some advice, I know a little bit about initiative.

Peter: No, thank you. I can defend myself.

Alex: Well, it did work for Felix, he's famous now.

Peter: Yeah, last I heard of him he signed an exclusive deal with CW, he got totally famous after that video.

Alex: yeah...

Peter: (smiling) Someone's jelly...

Alex: No, I'm not.

Peter: Admit it, you're jelly of Felix...

Alex: (high tone of voice) No, I'm not! You know what, Pal, you're getting annoying. Call me after the interview.

Peter: Sure...

[Peter hangs up the phone and puts it away, when an elderly woman comes out to meet Peter]

Mrs. N: You must be, Mr. S. Nice to meet you, I'm the principal of this school, I'm Mrs. N.

[Peter stands up from his seat and gives her a hand shake]

Peter: Pleasure.

Mrs. N: Come in to my office.

[Peter enters the office with Mrs. N and times passes by]

~30 MINUTES LATER~

[Peter gets out of the office with a smile on his face and he leaves the office and his cellphone starts ringing]

Peter: Wow! That was fast.

[Peter looks at his phone and says]

Peter: (confused) Gramps?

[Peter picks up the phone]

Peter: Gramps?

Gramps: Son..(coughs) ...how did the interview go? (coughs)
