***FLASHBACK***
Ruby woke up in the morning, it was two years before she started Beacon, she was glad to finally get out of Atlas, she hated it there. Everyone was a selfish ass who only cared about themselves. "Miss Rose?" said a familiar voice in the doorway. Ruby turned to see her Dog Faunus butler, Zwei. Zwei had Ruby's coat in his hands, holding it up for her to see. "Thank you Zwei." Ruby said getting up from her bed and removing her nightgown. Zwei walked over and put her coat on her, slipping her arms into the sleeves. "Have you prepared any breakfast?" Ruby asked, her left eyebrow lifting over her right. "No Miss Rose, because your father told me not to. He wishes to speak with you as soon as possible and he's here with a very important guest." Zwei explained to Ruby. "Who?" Ruby asked. "Professor Ozpin of Beacon Academy." Zwei said formally.
Ruby had entered a room in her mansion with a large red statue of a King Taijitsu, Standing in front of it was her father, Tai Yang Rose and Professor Ozpin. "Ah, hello Miss Rose." Said Professor Ozpin. "Umm, Please just call me Ruby sir." Ruby said embarrassed. "Before I begin explaining this I'd like the young faunus to leave the room, this is a manner strictly reserved for family." Professor Ozpin said gesturing to Zwei. Zwei left the room at Ozpin's wishes.
"I don't Understand what this is about." Ruby said. "Miss Rose. Ruby, I was wondering if you'd like to go to Beacon Academy early, I know you are only fifteen, but I do believe you are ready." Ozpin said. "Uh huh, What's the catch?" Ruby asked unamused. "RUBY!" Tai Yang started though Ozpin quickly raised his hand to silence him. "What's your favorite fairy tale?" Ozpin asked Ruby. "Well... There's Aladdin, Pinocchio, and of course Little Riding Hood." Ruby said to Ozpin with glee. "What about the tale of the Maidens?" Ozpin asked while smirking.
"Oh of course, Deep in the forests of , beside a great and mighty river, stood the small, fragile home of a cold, frail man- a lone wizard.
Hidden from the dangers and distractions of the world, the wizard seldom had visitors. But on this day, as he peered out his window, his gaze fell upon a young maiden.
Calmly, she sat beneath his tree in a state of absolute tranquility. When the wizard demanded an explanation, the maiden simply replied, "My name is Winter. I am on a journey, and I am waiting for my sisters."
With that, she closed her eyes and sat in silence.
The wizard told himself the girl was a fool, but the longer she sat, the more he wished to share in the serenity the young maiden enjoyed. In time, he grew tired and decided to close his eyes as well, thinking on this strange predicament.
Upon opening his eyes, the wizard was befuddled to find that a second maiden appeared beneath his tree, cheerful and spry, with a basket of fruit and flowers.
When he asked for an explanation, the girl simply replied,
"My name is Spring. I am on a journey, and I am waiting for my sisters."
To show her gratitude for his reluctant hospitality, the girl retrieved a handful of seeds from her basket and planted them in the wizard's garden.
The old hermit could hardly believe his eyes as the maiden turned what was once a mere pile of dirt and manure into a beautiful garden, from which life would surely blossom.
It's likely he would have gazed for hours, were it not for the unfamiliar laughter he heard from beneath his tree.
A young woman with a warm smile now stood beside the two maidens.
