Chapter 8

The Vital Festival Tournament is underway. Team RWWJ (Rouge) from Beacon vs Team XCBR (Excalibur) from Atlas. Xenon Green, Carmen Lake, Burgundy Shade, and Rackley Bolt.

Ruby sped up turning into rose petals and unleashing a barrage attack on Xenon, who was holding her back with his pike.

Weiss was taking on Burgundy, who was sword fighting her, quickly Weiss made a Glyph in the sky, she backflipped and landed on it, now fighting Burgundy while upside down.

Juane was taking on Carmen, her large shuriken was thrown and redirected at Juane over and over, which he kept deflecting with his shield. Juane summersaulted under Carmen and swiftly kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying.

Rackley was swinging an enormous flail which Winter continued to redirect with her sword. Rackley swung the flail over Winter's head, Winter ducked and slid recklessly out of the way, bumping her head on a rock causing blood to leak. "How the hell are you swinging that around it is 24 feet in diameter?!" Winter questioned angrily.

"It's his semblance and an effective one at that, Tactile Telekinesis, Rackley making physical contact redirects gravitational fields thus anything is effortless to lift." Oobleck explained to the Audience and Winter. "What?!" Winter screamed.

Winter spun around twice and stabbed her sword into the ground, causing an army of snow white Ursa Grim. The army charged at Rackley.

Carmen threw her Shuriken and it duplicated into three. "My semblance is Divide and Conquer, it splits up projectile and melee attacks with no power decrease, then they home in on the target." Carmen explained to Juane. Juane backflipped 6 feet in the air dodging all three, they formed back into one, yet they hit Juane's shield on his back and bounced off sticking to the floor behind him as he landed.

Burgundy's sword suddenly shifted into a gun and shot Weiss point blank in the forehead. Weiss fell unconscious and landed on the floor hard.

BUZZ

"Weiss Schnee is eliminated." Said Professor Port. Ruby turned her head away from Xenon, "Weiss!" she yelled. Xenon's pike turned into a bow and arrow. Xenon fired and pinned Ruby's cape to the ground. "To bad all that money can't buy you skill." Xenon said with a smirk. "It did." Ruby replied coldly. Ruby dislodged her cape and sped around Xenon creating a vortex. Xenon fell to his knees unable to breathe. While Xenon was on the ground, Ruby was continuously shooting him with Crescent Rose. "Fighting is a lot easier when you can breathe." Ruby said with a smirk of her own. Xenon was on his hands and knees nearly unconscious, but couldn't even faint with the pain of Ruby's continuous electric dust bullets.

Ruby leapt in the air and swung Crescent Rose downward in circles toward Xenon. Gunfire could be heard when Burgundy shot Ruby in the stomach breaching her aura, the vortex ceased, and she fell to the ground bleeding.

BUZZ

"Ruby Rose has been eliminated." Professor Port stated.

Burgundy helped Xenon up and the two joined Carmen to fight Juane. Juane looked at his chances of fighting three on one. The three of them charged at Juane, Juane ducked and leg swept the three of them. Juane quickly maneuvered to Burgundy's side and kicked her into her team mates, sending them flying.

Winter's army had been crushed by Rackley. Rackley swung his flail upward, however his team mates crashed into it crushing Rackley underneath. Juane sped up behind Winter and boosted her Aura, pushing her toward the flail, she gave one powerful sword swing and sent the four of them flying out of the stadium.
