Jiah hated her eyes

Jiah hated her eyes. As she stared back at herself in the mirror, slicking her hair back while making sure there were no flyaways, it was impossible not to look straight into them. Jungkook would often compare them to tea, to hot chocolate and that earned him a slap on the back. But she saw it too. And with it she saw vulnerability. No matter how hard she tried to fill them with hatred, it just blinked back at her.

Vulnerable. Vulnerable. Vulnerable.

"You better be fast, Shadow," Jungkook's voice was hoarse.

Shaking herself from her thoughts, she tucked her hair behind her headband, "You better not trip today, Crown."

Jungkook reached forward and pulled the collar of her turtleneck higher to cover her throat better, before brushing it down at the shoulders, "Okay, are we ready?"

"So, in and out in ten minutes, okay? All we are doing is breaking into," she looked at the card in her hand, "Room 1-9-6-7 on the nineteenth floor," with another peek, "Park Jimin's penthouse, copying computer data and grabbing anything else we can before getting out of there," she slipped the card back into her bag and gave out a sigh.

"Okay, we're ready," Jiah said into her in-ear device.

"We ready too," their subordinate parroted, "Shadow, Crown, Go!"

Jungkook pressed the button on the device in his hand which disarmed the lock to the backdoor of the tenth floor for twenty minutes. He opened it for her and followed as they sprinted up the stairs.

When they were there, Jungkook again connected his device to the door and managed to unlock it, and they were in.

Getting to work, he ran straight to the study to transfer any information possible onto a hard disk while Jiah was rummaging through the rest of the penthouse for anything else of value - without making a mess, of course.

"Done!" Jungkook hissed after a good three minutes before coming out and helping her look for anything else. "Gotta admit, this man lives the good life."

Jiah snorted, "Wanna bet he's some old grandpa living off a corrupt business?" shrugging, she added, "I mean, he is in ties with Kkangpae, so..."

"Say that again?" Jungkook asked and she turned to him, seeing him holding up a photo frame with a pretty young man, around their age, shaking hands with the prime minister of South Korea, a wide grin on his face, and she couldn't deny how handsome he looked in that photo either.

"Get back to work, idiot."
