Depression is a dark void. At times you just want to let the darkness take over, but if you do that, you will miss what is right in front of you. Don't let the void overcome you. Instead, find someone who will be there and talk to them. You must overcome the darkness and let the light shine through. You don't want to miss the beauty that is life. It has ways of surprising you.
It is in these dark times that you fight the real battle that is life. But you don't do it alone.
Go to that one place you feel the most at ease, write about it. Draw it. Share it. You are not alone. Someone else in this world is going through this dark void too. It helps when you have someone to support your struggles with especially if they are going through something similar.
People are at their strongest when they communicate. It brings a sense of hope. Hope is what drives us after all.

I know this one longer, but I felt like I needed to put this one up as well. I find that the pictures perfectly portray what it is I am trying to say.The first image represents the light shine through the void. Or sunlight through the dark ocean.
The second shows that beauty can be found in that darkness if you look and try hard enough.
The third is a kind of rephrase of the last. Look hard enough, and something will come your way that will surely bring you back the light that is hope.
The last one represents a group. People who talk when they are down, yet they are full of life. Hope, patience, and love, three key ingredients in life.
