e was always a kind soul.

Naruto Uzumaki was indeed a kind soul, he didn't kill, his "Talk no Jutsu" was 10/10. He wanted the world to come together in harmony and peace.

'Wanted...?'

No, he shouldn't say it like that.

He wants the world to come together in harmony and peace. There's no past tense to that because Naruto Uzumaki refused to believe that he was dead.

"I definitely DON'T believe that!" He said to himself.

There was still so much he needed to do, so much he must say, so many people he must gain closure with; he damn sure wasn't dying until he made sure of it too.

Naruto glanced around at the empty grass field he stood on.

Yes, he wasn't dead.

This didn't look like Heaven and if it did it sure was a lot emptier and slightly disappointing from what he had imagined. Perhaps he was simply in a coma, from the tight squeezing feeling that kept coming from his heart Sakura must be performing some sort of medical Jutsu on him by now.

And Ruka...

The Uzumaki's lips turned downwards into a frown.

What had become of her?

When Kurama had been extracted from him the last thing he saw were her bright golden eyes wide with horror. He hated seeing that look on her, and he was certain that after he passed out Madara issued the same fate to her; the mere thought of it made his blood boil.

"Stop worrying stupid."

The blue eyed male whipped around and smiled softly as a small sigh of relief left his lips.

There she stood.

Like an angel...his angel.

Ruka Kiyomizu, in all her beauty and elegance.

Her long silver hair flowing gently behind her like a silk curtain blocking out the blinding sun. Her golden eyes shining brightly in love and relaxation as though the pure metal itself had been melted then transferred to her.

She was the very picture of perfect.

And he was going to make sure he never lost her again.

"Ruka, marry me."

"Right now?"

"Yeah."

Ruka glanced up at the sky in deep thought then turned back to the Uzumaki, her usual playful and sly grin spreading across her rosy cheeks.

"Win this war and I just might~" she promised.

Naruto chuckles slightly then sat down upon the grass as the Kiyomizu joined him and the two sat in a comfortable silence.

They weren't sure where they were, they weren't 100% sure if they were truly dead or there was still some inkling of hope to hang onto that might suggest they are alive. They we're worried, no doubt, and there mouths didn't open once lest that worry be made apparent.
