*Fishlegs's POV*
Oh Thor, oh Thor, oh Thor. I run to aid Meatlug pull the man out, I quickly pull my dagger out and hold it directly in front of me pointing it him realizing that he may very well be hostile. Meatlug on the other hand seems not the slightest bit concerned, I wish I was as calm as she is right now. Maybe he has some dragon nip on him. I kneel down to have a closer look at him, around my age. (H/L) (H/C) hair. (E/C) eyes. (F/C) cotton tunic, and the remains of what appears to be some leather battle worn armour. I take the armour off in hopes of finding a tribal crest or something but nothing. (Colour of your choice) pants and black fur boots. There's a leather belt with a pouch and a dagger around his waist, I can't take myself to open the pouch. However I remove the dagger, inspecting it closer its engraved with a strange language. I put it away in my satchel for further inspection. I take a closer at him noticing a significant gash on his (D/H) arm, most likely some head trauma and bellding suggested by the dried blood. I inspect his breathing placing my cheek a few centimeters away from his face and resting a hand on his chest. "He's breathing" Which is surprising because he was most likely trapped in this Odin's ghost for Thor knows how long. Meatlug gave a curious grumble.
Meatlug seems very interested in his sleeve trying to pull it off. "No Meatlug stop, we don't know where he's been. Or if he is even trustworthy." I scald her, but to my surprise she ignores me. "Meatlug sit" I command, she continues to ignore me. Well if she's not listening to me it must be important. I walk over and pull his sleeve up now, revealing a bracelet on his upper arm and an arm guard worn beneath his sleeve. I inspect the bracelet more closely "Intriguing". It has a crescent moon carved out of ash wood, and a what appears to be dark oak carved in the shape of a ... nightfury! Between the two there's half a viking's face with a sapphire eye, the other half of the face being a nightfury's with an emerald eye.
"Whatcha doing fish-face?" Snotlout call out. I scream as a hand touches my shoulder.
I catch my breath before replying "Meatlug found a person amongst all these fallen trees." Snotlout walked over to me, upon seeing him he turned around not seeming to care. "What do you think we should do with him." I ask concerned about the guys well being.
"Leave him there" Snotlout replies nonchalantly. "Besides we came here for resources not a injured stranger" He continued jumping back on Hookfang.
"We can't leave him here, we should take him back to Berk and tell Hiccup" I growled, Snotlout still didn't seem interested. "I mean look at him, he most likely got caught in the middle of the storm. Not just any storm at that..."
Snotlout cut me off "Then we patch up his wounds, and leave him. I mean he's still breathing. If he can survive the storm he can survive a little longer" Snotlout acting stubborn as always. I crossed my arms.
"Okay then, what about his bracelet. Hiccup the chief would want to see it, if not for the survival of the man's life, than because he could have some knowledge about nightfuries and possibly other species as well" I countered, just cause Snotlout's selfish doesn't mean we have to abandon this wounded man in the middle of a forest.
"Well hiccup won't find out if no one tells him" He gives me a look as if to say snitches get stitches. 'The never'.
"Fine, then I will do it by myself." I end the conversation, ignoring the cursing behind me I set off back to Berk.
A/N Sorry about this chapter being short, I would explain however I don't want to give excuses. Instead I will work harder on the next two chapters to make them longer. P.S I am working on a drawing of the bracelet. When its finished I will add it in. (Constructive Feedback is always welcome) ~~ AV
