Astrid had shown you around most of Berk by now, including the docks, several huts, dragon grooming stations, the ice pillar, the edge of the woods and much more. Astrid even told you that woods you passed were the very woods that Fishlegs and meat lug had found you. Everywhere that you went the people surprised you. Different to how you'd have thought the people were rowdy, loud, but also gentle and welcoming. Quite a few of them came rushing in to see you including a rather strange teen going by the name of Gustav. He seemed a bit too much like Snotlout fro you liking.

Oblivious to you, Astrid's way of watching you changed. She seemed intrigued by the way you politely acted towards people, however she always pulled her thoughts back. She kept telling herself it was a ruse, that you were only here to steal the dragons, or kill the chief, or collect intel.

You turned and smiled at Astrid as you walked along, finally letting your head catch up with everything. "So this is Berk." You gestured around you and looked at all the buildings.

Astrid was leading you to the blacksmith, where you were to meet with some man named Gobber. A name which sounded strangely familiar to you. "Surprised? did you think it was going to be more impressive?" She seemed to be talking in the same way when she was interrogating you.

'What is it with you and interrogating me? Did I do something wrong? Have we crossed paths before?' As your mind slowly began to fill with questions, you felt a tinge of pain. It was the headache from earlier,  you shake your head to try and stop the questions from coming in. "No, no. I didn't know what to expect. I don't know how to describe other than that it's absolutely beautiful." You smiled as you turned to look at some more of the buildings.

Astrid let loose a small smile as she heard you words. Out of all the things she was expecting you to say, this hadn't even crossed her mind. She gently looked at where you were looking and her smile grew. 'It really is beautiful.' She thought to herself, she had lived on this island since she was a child. Never did she think to look at it the way you were now.

You smiled as you watched a dragon perch on the roof of a house. The way that this village worked in unison, Dragon and Viking, it filled you with a strange feeling that made its way through your whole body. However the feeling was short lived as the headache suddenly rushed back and you doubled over, holding your head tightly.

Astrid quickly grabbed your shoulder losing her guard. "Are you alright?" Her eyes were filled with concern as she watched you. You didn't move or look up from your position. Screams softly echoed in your ears and strange towers of flames filled your vision, Astrid's voice sounded very distant and barely audible. Large shadowy creatures with blazing eyes surrounded you, they bore down on you like a herd of angry boars. You felt your heart racing, your eyes blurred with every beat. The sound grew louder and louder, then continuous thumping of your heart echoed in your head. A ear shattering roar broke the sound of your beating heart, you heard your name being screamed by a female voice before opening your eyes.

You were kneeled on the ground, both hands gripping tightly to your sides. "y/n, can you hear me?" you turned your head towards Astrid, yet she looked different. She looked concerned. "Are you alright?" Astrid had been watching (y/n) as you had slowly dropped onto your knees. You softly nodded at her starting to regain your colour and strength. Astrid stood up slowly regaining her previous demeanour towards you. "What happened?" Her voice sounded slightly warmer than before.

You pushed yourself up so that you were standing beside her. "I'm not sure, I felt a share pain in my head before..." You paused trying to understand the events yourself. Astrid had been watching her brows raised urging you to continue. "before I blacked out" She looks at you unconvinced, you couldn't tell her the truth. Not only would it make you sound crazy but it might giver her another reason not to trust you. "Look, I'm not really sure what happened. I just need some time to get my head around it. As soon as I understand I'll come straight to you" You smile reassuringly at her.
