Greg's aptitude test and Choosing Ceremony

Gregory just turned 16 and still does not fit in at high school, but all that might change as he will choose his faction this year and for life. Rodrick turned 18, graduated high school but, he wants to be successful in his own way. Manny is now 8 years old and still gets treated like a baby. Frank cuts his son's hair, so he can look his best for the aptitude test. Frank asks him, are you nervous and Gregory says no, I'm not nervous. Frank says he was not nervous but terrified and worried about it today. Next, they all line up in their own factions. Gregory sees a woman named Tori, as she tells him to sit and bottoms up, as she tells him to drink the liquid. Gregory looks at the mirror and his double tells him to choose before it's too late. Gregory did not know what to do, so a mean dog barks at him. The dog turns into a puppy and a little boy shows up. The puppy turns back into a dog and chases the little boy. Gregory chases after the dog and went under the floor. After Gregory wakes up, Tori says you need to leave before the supervisor gets here. Gregory says but what about my test? Tori says it did not work on you. Why?asked Gregory. Tori says it was inconclusive, your a Divergent, meaning that you manipulated the simulation, it's dangerous and just tell your family that you got sick, ok. Gregory says ok. Later at dinner, the dad says to be aware of Erudite taking over Abnegation, ok. The kids nodded their heads and Gregory says I got sick after the test and they have no idea who I'am. After dinner, Rodrick tells Gregory to think of your family and to think of yourself. Next they leave for the Choosing Ceremony. Jeanine Matthews meets Susan and Frank Heffley's 3 boys. They all sit, so Marcus gives out his speech and ends with everyone saying faction before blood. Everyone goes and next, Rodrick Heffley cuts his hand and goes into the Erudite bowl. Last, Gregory Heffley cuts his hand and lands into the Dauntless bowl. Gregory leaves with the Dauntless first and his mother cries, while the dad knows what's up with his son's decision.
