I took a step. Another step. Step, step, step. I continued moving, letting my hair hang down in front of me. I could hear whispering, followed by snickers from the crowd. I scowled quietly and continued to walk. I breathed heavily as I heard more laughing from the crowd. I quickened my pace and lunged to the airship. I fell over onto one of the couches and tried to slow my breathing. I sat the correct way, and crossed my legs, letting out a sigh.

"Luna! Over here!" I jumped at the sound of the person and stood immediately, turning to the voice.

I sighed in relief as I saw my old friend from Atlas, Naomi Kale, waving me over. I chuckled at her enthusiasm, and went over to her.

"Hey, I saw you a few seconds ago, and if the crowd is getting to you, you know I'll deal with it." She forced her fist into her other palm of her hand.

I laughed nervously, waving my hands in front of me. "No no... please don't."

You see, I'm a Faunus. I know that's normal, but I also have Anxiety Issues. Bad ones. Crowds hate me, and the people in them hate me. They are the perfect match.

A cackling noise broke my thought, as a projection of a woman came up on the side of the ship.

"Hello and welcome to Beacon. My name is Glynda Goodwitch. You are among a privileged few-"

Naomi leaned over and poked me. "Will this ever stop?"

I put my finger to my lips and turned back towards the screen.

"You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world."

Naomi clapped and hugged me for no reason, as I put on a fake smile.

"Hey, how's it going... freak." I let go of Naomi, and stared at the boy, who looked about 17 or 18.

"What do you want Cardin." Naomi said, gritting her teeth.

"Oh, just saying hi. And might I say you have some... ridiculous ears there..." He reach towards my head, as I dodged quickly to the side. I looked around as a crowd started to form around us. I looked for Naomi, but she was lost in the crowd.

They want us to fight. I started to breathe heavily once again.

Cardin smirked, "What, afraid of a tiny crowd? Come on, I thought you were better than this!"

He reached for a punch. I dodged, and got behind him, elbowing him in the neck. I side stepped, and kicked him in the face. He tumbled over and felt under his nose.

"A little freak like you sure packs a punch." Cardin then punched me in the stomach, and I fell over, as he kicked me repeatedly in the face. All of a sudden, he started to choke and get hit in the stomach. I struggled to get up, but stood and swayed back and forth.

"Stop.." I stared at Cardin as his air was pulled from him. "I SAID STOP!!"

He gasped for air, as he caught his breath, coughing a storm. He stared at me from a distance as he got up, backing away.

"Get away from me... you.. monster!!" He yelled.

I tried to walk over to him. "It wasn't me! I'm sorry! You just... you don't understand!"

Cardin kicked the air, struggling to get up. "JUST STAY AWAY!" He got up and ran off the air ship.

I looked around at the crowd as they all ran off as well. I turned and saw Naomi.

She stared at me, speechless.

"I'm sorry..." I said, "I didn't... I...I-" I was stopped abruptly by Naomi, as she hugged me.

"Don't worry. I know you're a good person."She said, holding me close. I wrapped my arms around her as I started to cry. I hugged her, passing out in her arms.

I'm sorry... Only if you knew the truth...
