Chapter 4: "SOON"

Naomi's POV:

I was fired off first, but I spent most of my time trying to figure out which way to go.

"Luna is great at directions. I hope I find her soon." I thought aloud.

I kept walking, until I stumbled upon a dead Ursa.

"What the hell? Who did this?" I said, looking at the lifeless Grimm from afar. My ears perked at the sound of bushes getting moved around.

"Who's there?" I asked, staring at the bush. I looked closer as I saw an arm come out.

"UH! Why does it have to be in a forest?! My dress!" A female voice whimpered from the bush. I put my hand on my hip as she came out, covered it leaves and twigs stuck on her dress. She had light blue hair and a white dress, which was clearly ruined.

"Oh, great! A new teammate!" She said in a frustrated tone, looking at me head to toe.

"Thanks princess." I said. "What happened to you? Fell 'cause of your heels?"

"Uh! How dare you speak to me like that! I don't even wear heels! Look who's talking! You're filthy!"

I looked down at my clothes, which we're covered it dirt, because of my landing on my launch.

I grinned, "Guess we're even."

She stomped her foot on the ground and wiped the leaves off her dress.

"I'm Naomi." I said, extending my hand.

"Dawn. Dawn Diamond Quartz." She didn't bother to shake my hand. She was distracted by the dead Ursa behind me. I glanced at her and moved out of the way.

"Did you do this?" I asked, getting closer to the Grimm.

"No... You didn't?" She stared at it.

I shook my head, as I kneeled down to it, trying to find the wounds. Except there weren't any. All that was on the Ursa was the word sketched into its fur... "SOON."
