Middle of the night in middle of cold December it's always cold in our room the most since it's turned December but I was awoken by some one crying I open at Evie and she was fast alseep cuddled near me
"Mummy!"I hear Amelia tears downstairs
"Daddy!"I hear her say straight after I got up and threw on my jogger and went downstairs in joggers and shirtless and I looked at our beautiful Christmas tree that Evie and Amelia decorated at the begging of December while I was at a event but I went straight into Amelia room
"Daddy"she cried I shushed her and kneeled down by her bed and she wrapped her cute baby arms around me and sobbed into my bare chest and I stroked her hair in wonder what happened I looked around and there was nothing that could scared in here and she let go and sat on her bed
"What happened princess?"I spoke softly
"Two scary people got me again"she sniffled...again? What?
"Mummy knew them"she said....if it's Evie's ex and brother
"Do I have another jack?"she asked...I processed what she was saying and it clicked uncle...she had a nightmare about Evie's ex and brother but I can't lie about who they are
"Yes one of them is like your uncle jack and the other one use to love Mummy"I tried to explain to her so she could understand
"Mummy use to love a bad person"she said I sighed...I can't believe I'm having the conversation at 3 am to my daughter
"Yes princess but mummy met me"I explained
"Mummy loves me and you only"she said I laughed
"Yes angel"I said stroking her hair she wasn't crying at all at this point
"You need to sleep now"I said she stood and frown formed on her face
"What if they get me again"she said I looked in her innocent crystal blue eyes which she got from me and felt so sorry that she has to think in her little brain
"They won't Princess, I'll protect you"I said and she nodded and laid down
"Daddy sing"she said I laughed and thought of something

And after I finished singing it sent her off to sleep I kissed her forehead and slowly walked out of her room and I went back upstairs and I look to see Evie awake
"Baby"she said as I took my joggers off and got into bed
"Nightmare that's all...she fine though"I said and she snuggled back into me and we both fell asleep
