*oh shit*I exclaimed as I realised who my hero was,

*what happened?*niall asked
I was so caught up staring at his face that my mouth refused to work,
*you say?*I finally replied,
*what happened?*he asked again
*oh*I didnt know what to tell him, if I should tell him his best friend was being a total douche bag or I should just lie,

*no need to think of a lie to tell me, I can literally see you trying to, i know Morris is gay so I'm sure you and him is definitely is father's doing*he said starting the car engine,

*oh!!!*I said again but this time in a more relaxed way,
*he was being very shitty*i said
*you're a maid at his house right?*he asked,
Well alot of shit was coming out,
*yes*I replied,
*i figured*he replied
*you're way too innocent for Morris and slightly naive*he said
*what do you mean?*i fired,
*I meant in a good way*he said

I was caught in our little conversation that I didnt notice that we were going the wrong direction,

*you're going the wrong way*I said out of the blue,
*I'm not, I'm taking you to my house to dry off*he said
Okay.......he was being too nice and that was going to put me in a lot of trouble
*no, you need to take me home*I said

*relax, I'll take you back home safely, I'll even follow you inside the house just to be safe*he said like that was going to make mama less mad,

*you don't understand, if you were Morris I wouldn't be so worried but you need to take me home*I said,

*I said I'll......*he was trying to repeat what he had said earlier,
*even If you follow me into my room my mama is going to be mad, so mad with me*I insisted,
*if you insist*he finally replied making a u turn back towards the direction of the mansion,

He wouldn't understand, I'm sure mama was already outside waiting for me, it was late and I was with someone she totally didnt know.

As we entered the compound gates I could see mama, sir Lugard, Morris and his sister standing at the entrance of the mansion,

What was happening?

Mama was worried about me, that was why she was standing there but I couldn't vouche for the rest,

The car came to a stop in front of the stairs at the entrance,
*are you coming?*I asked looking at niall,
*sure*he said opening his side of the door coming towards mine with an umbrella in his hand, he opened the door for me and helped me out and onto the stairs,

*what happened child?*Mama asked
Using a blanket to cover me up,

*sir*Niall said paying his respect, he took a second look at Morris who looked at him in a disturbing way,

Before leaving, niall took another look at me and nodded his head before leaving,

*you better have an explanation boy*sir Lugard said before turning his back and walking into the house,

My eyes met those angry flaring green eyes glaring at me like he was going to tear me apart,
*come Inside*Maria said,
Taking alicia into the house.

*why did she come back home all drenched?*lugard asked
Morris's head was faced down and without any word coming from him,

*better open those damned mouth of yours*lugard shouted

Morris looked up at his father with mixed emotions all showing on his face,
*she almost told my friends your little plan, which I didnt support from day one but what was I expecting from you, once again you were thinking only of yourself*Morris fired

Lugard laughed out loud,

*oh my.......I do ask your mother if you're mine sometimes because even with all the training you still are not close.....all I'm doing is for your good boy but if you're too naive to see that then I don't think it's worth it*Lugard said walking out of his study leaving Morris standing there.

*who was that boy?*mama asked
*he's a friend of Morris.....he found me walking in the rain and helped,
*what have I told about people I don't know*she said,
*I know mama but it was raining and i had no choice*i said

*you should have called*she said,
I honestly didnt remember I was a phone owner,
*see, your precious little brain doesn't ever work when its supposed to*she said still damping water out of my hair.
