Journey to the World of Seven Kingdoms

Wormhole Entry

In my dream my wife had just found out she was pregnant when all of a sudden the dream ended. I woke up with water in my lungs and fluids in my bladder. I coughed and spewed out the water, when I saw Lars standing over me. He told me that we were now in orbit around Mars.

After I relieved my bladder, the others began to come out of their tanks. Once everyone did their business we gathered in the habitat module. In the habitat module we broke our long fast on beef jerky and Tang mixed with water. Me being the Commander I had oatmeal. However I think Professor Chastain had snuck a few extra packets with us, because I saw Jessica eating some and I saw Chang tossing Cole a packet. Then I saw a whole box of different flavors including my favorite apples and cinnamon. So I guess I had been sleeping too long, which I have six months to be

While I was eating, Jessica Chastain came behind me and hugged me. I wasn't sure she was supposed to be a hugging on the commander, so naturally I just sat there and ate my breakfast. She said that she was wrong about me 6 months ago. I asked her what she meant and I told her that it felt like last night. When I said that she laughed and patted my head. I got up to get some beef jerky, which I washed down with tang. I heard Chang chuckling with Cole and one of them said "I think she likes you;" which I ignored.

That was when our talkative funny bot Lars came in and asked: "What's going on I heard laughter." That's when I said to Lars; "Like you would know what that is!" All of a sudden Lars walked towards me and said; "You'd happened to know that I have a 100% humor setting." I interrupted and pointed out that robots can't laugh. "Very funny" Lars said walking off and once again I thought "how would you know." Then I remembered the way that Lars was programmed and decided it was time to put on my space suit.

Once I stopped the spin we were able to look out the window. As we looked out the window we first see the marvelous red planet that we call Mars. We also see the two moons that orbit Mars: Phobos and Deimos. Then we see the wormhole. At first it looked like a small marble, which got bigger as we got closer. When we got closer I could see stars and planet within the wormhole which now looked like a giant marble.

We took our seats and Cole took the controls. Then I asked everybody if they were ready to say goodbye to our solar system. Jessica nodded and Chang reminded me that it's not just our solar system that we are leaving but also our galaxy. So once we said goodbye I commanded Cole to "Take us through."

Going through the wormhole felt like a roller coaster. All our instruments were going haywire. I tried to steady the shaky Endurance with the control stick but Chang told me I would not be able to use the controls inside the wormhole. So I put my hands up and pretended I was on a roller coaster.

Just when I was starting to get tired of the ride through the wormhole Cole said "We're here." We were in our new solar system now we just had to find the right planet. I called a meeting where we could discuss where to go next. We decided to go to the closest planet which was Smorozov's.
