“Oh my god, I better shower” I reply
“Oh yeah I also need to borrow an outfit”
“Help yourself” I say as I head into my bathroom
I quickly get into the shower and wash my hair with my Moroccan oil and wash my body with my body wash that smells like vanilla, my favorite smell. Since I’m going out I decide I better shave my legs. After I’m done my shower I have to try and pick what to wear, so I’m standing in the door of my walk-in-closet, on one side I have my school clothes, another side has all of my riding clothes and the last side has my partying clothes, I go to that side and grab my black high-wasted skirt, and a white crop top, and then I find my good black pair of cowboy boots. Well I’m letting my hair dry I go downstairs and find Mia wearing a simple pink strapless dress, with my black cowboy boots with a bit of pink on them, and her hair is straightened, her makeup is awesome, she’s wearing light pink eye shadow, she’s winged her black eyeliner, and she has the perfect amount of foundation and mascara.
“You. Look. Gorgeous.” I say to her
“Why thank you Jay” she says while twirling around
Dads still at work so I just make Kraft dinner for the two of us before we go to the party. After I’m done eating I go upstairs and curl my hair, and start my makeup, I put on foundation, then a bit of blue eye shadow to go with my eyes, I put a thin line of eyeliner on and lastly I apply some mascara, when I’m done I head back down stairs.
“You think I look gorgeous, have you seen yourself?” asks Mia
“Yes I have, thank you”
“Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, the party’s at Jake’s”
When I hear that I die a little, Jake is the most attractive guy in town, he has blonde hair, blue eyes, he has huge biceps, an eight pack, is the captain of the hockey team, and to make things better he’s a cowboy and drives a lifted truck. I know I have Jeremy, but really what’s not to like about Jake, he’s perfect.
Me and Jeremy have been dating for a year and a half, he’s tall with dark hair, green eyes and he has an alright body compared to Jake, but everyone does. He doesn’t mind horses but he’s a very inexperienced rider, so when we go riding it’s not that fun.
Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, I’m the captain of the hockey, and volleyball team, I have been rodeo queen for the past three years, I guess you could say I’m pretty popular.
Just before were about to leave my dad walks in
“Well you girls look very nice”
“Thank you daddy” I say
“Thanks Devon” says Mia
“We’re going to Jake’s for a party, I’ll be sure to text you if we run into any problems, love you!”
“Have fun, love you too”
We get into my black lifted dodge truck and hit the road, Jake only lives a mile down the road from me so it doesn’t take us long to get there. Once we get there I find somewhere to park, we get out of my truck and start walking towards the barn where the party is being held. Once I get into the barn I see something I did not want to see.
