Milo sat down on a wooden chair near the table. Milo's human named Mark sat down next to Milo.
"Hey, Milo, is Skulls being nice to you?" Asked Mark.
Milo could just barely understand the human.
"Not really, but he's funny I guess." Sighed Milo, fiddling with his fur.
"That's a bummer. I'll ask Skulls if he can be more nice to you." Said Mark. Mark carefully picked Milo up and walked over to Skulls who was laying in the cat bed.
"Hey, Skulls. Would you mind being more nice to Milo for a bit? He has feelings too, you know." Said Mark as he placed Milo beside Skulls on the cat bed.
Skulls didn't answer.
"Um... remember? Skulls can't understand humans." Meowed Milo, awkwardly walking away from Skulls.
"Oh. Right. Well can you tell Skulls that I said for him to be nicer to you?" Asked Mark.
"Sure." Milo walked back over to Skulls. He was asleep.
"But... he's asleep! I can't wake him up, he'll kill me!" Whined Milo.
The human looked a bit surprised. "Well then, let him sleep. He kills me when I wake him up, too. Skulls is just a grumpy cat."
Milo stared at the human. "Then why did you adopt him?!"
"Well, he just looked like he needed a home. He was all scratched up and pretty cold. I just felt so bad, I had to adopt him."
"Ugh, spoiled and mean cats like Skulls don't deserve a home." Spat Milo. "I wish I was a lone cat again. I would be able to have peace and quiet for once without any jerk hissing at me."
"Now, now, Milo. You're starting to turn into a selfish cat like Skulls, too. Why don't you try to make friends with Skulls? Maybe give him a present?" Said Mark as he stroke Milo's smooth, orange fur.
"What?! Are you crazy?! It's impossible to make friends with THAT." Milo pointed at Skulls the black cat laying in the cat bed. "And do you really think I'd give him a present after he's only been a jerk to me? That'll just make him think that if he acts bad, he'll get a present! Wow, what a good way to make someone nicer." Hissed Milo.
"You have a point there. But he's not going to get nicer either if we punish him!" Mark exclaimed.
"See? Skulls is just not meant to be a house cat. Why don't we drive to the forest and drop him off there? Skulls will be a lot happier in the forest."
Mark looked at Milo. "Milo, you can't just do that. We'll get in trouble, Skulls will get hurt, or Skulls will get sent back to the animal shelter!"
"Why would we care? Skulls is a big jerk!" Milo Stated.
"I'll think about it." Said Mark.
"Well think faster! I'm sick and tired of Skulls!" Hissed Milo.
