Molly's POV
Me and Annie were still pretty angry at Megan. We had promised each other that we would never fraternise with the enemy. Megan had gone against that promise. She had been secretly going off places and not telling us. It was obviously to do stuff with Joe but we decided not to pry. I arrived at the theatre about 5 minutes early. I knew Annie would be here somewhere but I wasn't sure where. I walked through the hallways and towards the stage door.
"Hello hello hello" I call out as I take off my bag. I am about to put it down when I end up dropping it in shock. All I can see is Annie and Jeff in front of me kissing. Annie pulls back and pushes Jeff away she slaps him in the face.
"What the hell was that!" She shouts at him
"Annie, I-I just..."
"Forget it!" She interrupts him.
All I could do was stand there with my mouth open.
"Molly, listen. I can explain. I wasn't fraternising"
I just picked up my bag and walked out. I felt betrayed by both of them. Did promises mean nothing to them? I stormed through the empty halls as I wiped tears away from my face.
I felt a hand clasp around my shoulder which made me stop in my tracks. I was spun around and faced to Darren.
"Why are you crying?" He asked.
"Darren not now" I said through tears.
"At least tell me what's-"
Darren was interrupted by Annie shouting my name.
More tears streamed from my eyes.
"Come with me" I grabbed his hand and started to drag him out the building. He didn't seem to mind he just followed along happily. We walked across the road and Darren stopped me and pulled me into O'Malleys.
"No not this place!" I said
"Just for a minute"
He pulled me into a booth in the corner. He used his thumb to rub away my tears.
"Want to tell me what happened?" He asked.
At this point I wasn't wanting to open up to Darren. We hadn't talked since the incident that happened here. I ended up telling him what had happened with Megan and Annie anyway.
"I know what you mean but it's love. Sometimes you can't stop it" he reached forward for my hand but I pulled it away.
"Don't" I said
"Don't what?"
"Try be all nice like that then start getting all flirty"
"Well why not? Jeff and Joe did the same to Annie and Megan and they have obviously fell for it"
I looked at him and found my annoyance for him growing back.
"Just forget it Darren. I don't even know why I talk to you" I stood up and walked out the door but he quickly caught up with me.
"Ok , Molly I'm genuinely sorry about that. If you want me to stop I will stop" he smiled at me and started to walk away.
"Darren wait!" I called.
His head turned in my direction as I walked back towards him.
"Lets do something. I need to get my mind off things"
"What do you have in mind?" He asked.
"It's your choice. It can be anything. Something crazy"
