Alex, Birthday gift

I walked around the mall looking through every store to find Alex a gift. I was so determined to find him a gift, after all the things he's done for me he deserved something special. After going through many shops I finally decided on the perfect gift that I was hoping he'd accept and love.

I arrived back to mine and Alex's shared apartment to see him playing video games with all the guys. I watched as Alex cheered in joy as he bet the others whilst everyone groaned. I smiled at how happy he looked around the boys, he turned around his eyes locking with mine while sending a smile my way.

"Hey baby" He cheered over the noise causing all eyes to be on me. I chorus of 'heys' came from everyone.

"Happy birthday" I said to Alex as I started to approach him. 

"Sooo..." I trailed off.

"I may of bought you a little something, something, it's not to much don't worry,"

"I told you to not get me anything" He whined pulling me into his lap placing a light kiss on my forehead," I stood up pulling him up with me so he was standing in front of me. I look to my left to see David smiling pulling his camera out to film, he gave me a slight nod telling me to go. I grabbed a hold of his hands and said,

"I've known you for 6 years now and we've been together for 5 of them. Those 5 years of my life have been the best years anyone could ask for, you've been there for me for so long and have been by my side through thick and thin, and there is nothing more that I could ask for. I can't believe that out of all girls you could have chosen that you decided on going for me which I'm extremely thankful for. To be honest if I didn't have you in my life I don't what I would have done with myself I don't even know if I'd be here today. Your the best guy anyone could ever ask for, you're handsome, cute, very funny, you treat me like I'm the queen and like I'm the only girl in the world, just being you is the whole reason I want  to be with you for the rest of my life I want to be with you until death do us apart." I let out a loud sigh before saying,

"Alex Ernst, I know it's usually done the other way round but would you make me the happiest woman in the world and marry me," I got down on one knee pulling the small black box out of my pocket and and bringing it up so he can see. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up on my feet.

"I love you so fucking much and I can't imagine being with any other girl, so of course I'll marry you," He replied giving me a long loving kiss on the lips. The room was filled with loud cheers, but there was one that stuck out the most.

"Hey this is some good clickbait, the title will be 'They did what!' look at me with a surprised face so I can get it" I let out a chuckle as I look towards David a shocked expression on my face. 

"This is the best birthday ever," Alex whispered giving me a peck

"I love you so, so much"
