Ashley was not an ugly girl, she is actually beautiful. Her attitude towards the world and everyone else was bad. Growing up with money really didn’t do her good. I was standing starring at her because never in a million years did I think she could actually make food or wanted to make food.
“Want some coffee?” she asked snapping me out of my thoughts. “Uh yeah sure” I said. She poured the coffee with 2 sugar and milk. I furrowed my brows, how the hell does she know how I drink my coffee?
“I pay attention Ann – Marie” she laughed handing me my coffee. “So what are you going to do today?” she asked going back to making the bacon. “I’m gonna go see Alexander and then going to work for a double shift like yesterday” I said lighting a sigarette.
“I thought you hated Alexander?” she asked. “I don’t hate him per say but I need to see him for business” I said when she dished up the food and sat down next to me.
“Is it going to be the first time you’re going to see each other after you know” she said. What happened that day could not be put in words. No one knew what to call it.
“Yes it is.” I said taking a breath. I realised at that moment how nervous I actually was to see him again after everything that happened. Why I felt nervous I couldn’t say because as I remember he was the one at fault and not me.
“You look nervous” she noticed. “Yeah and I don’t know why” I said finishing my breakfast and coffee. I took my dishes to the sink and washed them quickly before I went to my room to get ready.
