Cast not light aspersions
on mysteries dark and deep
in subtle inept diversions
meant to lull one to sleepFear does bind the selfish core
which lacks the will to hear
Melodies of an infinite score
playing on in every spirit's earThey draw a short straw
and sip their own wine
instead of imbibing
a liquor divineYet one taste of the rich
One velvet, blood red
shall pull up the tent pegs
and dance in the headand swim past the clouds
of flames in the dark
and will find all the secrets
of a universal heart
