The votes were in and the time had come for the ballets to be counted. Henry and Nadine did the honors and counted each ballet carefully. Number running through their heads they would keep a piece of paper near by to write down the numbers so they wouldn't forget. By Mid day the ballets were all counted and the final count was made.

Nadine and Henry were put into royal attire with purples and blues to make them look important. Xander helped with the preparations of the wardrobe and dressed all the candidates in the finest attire. They all met in the belcony room and waited for Nadine and Henry to enter. When they entered the room the candidates stood up and nodded their heads for a greeting. Nadine felt a little embarrassed about her dress and so walked by quickly to the door of the belcony. She opened the door and a great cheer filled the air. Nadine introduced all the candidates and stood in the middle. "the ballets have been counted and recounted. A desicion has been made by you who the next king of England is to be." Nadine moved aside and let Henry move forward to say the name. A sheet of tree paper was I front of Henry. Henry's hands began to shake as he came to stand in the center of the belcony. "the new king of England is Dustin Hempler."

The crowd cheered and raised their hands in agreement. A large robe was put onto Dustin's back and tears started to form on Dustin cheeks. Nadine felt the emotion that was going though the air and began to cry as well. It was a while till Dustin composed himself to speak to the people. With shaking hands and a nervous voice Dustin made his way to the people. The voices died down and the people waited for their new king to speak.

"I am very great full for this honor since the history of my ancestors has been against your way of life. I promise not to follow the ways of my fathers and do my best to make this kingdom about the people. My first order is to make the following candidates leaders for the four villages that we will build. One to the East,West, South and North of this castle. These villages will have homes enough for all those who want to stay and with everyone's help we will have enough food and supplies for everyone. I will make more decisions later, right now we will have more celebration."

Cheering continued and the energy of excitement filled the grounds of the palace.

Nadine didn't know that her life would turn out with so much adventure. She now lived in a castle with her brother and she loved it.

Dustin took charge as king right after the crown was placed on his head. Most of the followers of the former king joined Dustin and became good friends. Each candidate became a leader of a village and started to build villages in all corners of the kingdom. The land was thriving, people were happy and at peace with their new king.

Dustin gave his parents another chance to agree to stay, but Delbern refused to be in the midst of a traitor so they were exiled from the kingdom. Charles had escaped before the castle was taken and Dustin never thought of him as a threat.

A week after Dustin was crowned king Peter and Mary had a wedding. The castle garden was filled with decorations. As king Dustin performed the ceremony. Peter and Mary looked at each other and smiled. Nadine couldn't contain her emotions and stared to cry when Henry handed her a handkerchief. "You don't have to get emotional about everything." Nadine smiled at her brother and knew that he was right. Henry has grown up so much, she sometimes couldn't believe how much this adventure has changed him.

Henry was a pure gentlemen. After the ceremony there was a celebration and everyone was dancing. Henry even asked one of the girls to dance with him and bowed. Nadine stood by and watched her little brother become a man. She was in a trance when someone startled her by taking her hand. "May I have this dance." Dustin pulled her to him and she didn't refuse. For once Nadine had nothing to say, she felt so safe in Dustin's arms. "Little Henry is no longer little is he?" Dustin spoke softly.

Nadine looked at her brother and than back at Dustin's brown eyes. "No, he isn't. I don't know what to think of him now."

They danced in silence until the music stopped and went to a faster beat. Nadine smiled at Dustin than walked away to get a drink. She didn't know what to do with these feelings of Dustin. Every time she saw him she couldn't stop smiling. Nadine was in love with the king and it scared her.

Dustin didn't know what to think of Nadine. She was impossible to read when she blocked him off. He needed advise, but since his advisor was the one he needed advise for, Dustin looked for Xander. Xander was in the midst of the roses sitting beside a blooming bush. "Dustin, good to see you." Dustin nodded and than sat beside Xander. "Something bothering you?" Dustin liked how Xander talked so plain. He went straight to the point, but Dustin didn't even know what was the problem. Dustin sighed and than leaned back and looked at Nadine talking to Peter and Mary.

Dustin stated speaking "I have organized a print shop so the Bible can be copied. Everyone should know the truth." Xander nodded "Thank you, but that is not what you wanted to speak to me about."

Dustin than looked at Nadine again.

"Just ask her." Dustin startled and glanced at Xander "what?" Dustin asked. Xander picked up one of the roses and played with it in his fingers. "Ask her to merry you."

"What if she says no."

"She won't."

Dustin smiled. "You sound so sure."

Xander smiled and twirled the rose in his figures. "Just a few seconds of courage can change the world." Xander smiled again and said."Thank you Dustin." Xander got out of his seat and handed the rose to Dustin and then gave a nudge at Nadine. Dustin took the rose and thought of the best thing to say. Nothing, absolutely nothing came to mind. 'well I hope I don't mess this up.' He said to himself.

Walking towards Nadine made him think of all the hard things that he had to do, but this was the hardest. When he reached Nadine, Peter and Mary bowed and greeted Dustin. "Nadine may I talk with you a moment." Nadine gave him a delightful smile and than nodded. They walked through the garden in silence and than Nadine spoke. "They look really happy." Dustin was awoken from his thoughts and agreed with her. Nadine tried to figure out what Dustin was thinking and soon she just got frustrated so she stopped and looked at Dustin. "What is wrong Dustin? Ever since you became king you are distant. Are you mad at me?"

Dustin laughed "I could never be mad at you. You saved us. I can never express the thanks that I have for you."

"Than what is it Dustin? Just speak plainly, it is a lot simpler that way."

"Sometimes it isn't so simple. Especially when I don't know the out come."

"Trust in God and He will make sure everything goes good." Dustin smiled again, amazed at how much she has grown in God. So with a few seconds of courage he turned to her and went to his knee and handed the rose before her. "Nadine I am not so good with words. When I know that a good thing is before me I lose my thoughts." Nadine swallowed and had nothing to say. Dustin continued "Nadine I am love with you and I would be overly honoured if you would agree to be my wife." Nadine froze and stared into his eyes. She smiled and took the rose from his hand and said "Yes Dustin, I will."Dustin stood up and they embraced in their first kiss.
