That night everyone went to bed early. The fires were put out except for the centre flame where Nadine and a couple other people sat to keep warm. Nadine couldn't keep her eyes off the golden flames. The log that she sat on moved to the weight of Peter sitting beside her. He handed her a black cup. "It looked like you needed some coffee."

Nadine took the cup."Thank you. I don't think I am going to sleep tonight."

"A lot of us aren't. Everyone is greatful for you finding another solution. Hopefully it works." Nadine smiled and then drank her coffee. "No one is more shaken by that thought than me." Nadine said. Just the thought of the events that will come tomorrow made Nadine very uneasy so she changed the subject. "So how is Mary doing?"

"Good. She is great ." Peter paused then looked at Nadine. "We plan on getting married after this thing goes through."

Nadine was shocked, but happy at the same time. "That is a little sudden."

"Not really. We figured, why wait when we know that it is right."

"And what about Allister? Does he know." Peter smiled again and began to blush. "Yes. I ask for his blessing. It will be a great celebration after peace is made."

"Well I am happy for you Peter."

"I should thank you. You helped me talk to her."

"Well you saved me escape the castle. I guess we are even." They both laughed. "Well I will see you in the morning. Dustin wants to leave early." Nadine nodded and said good bye.

Nadine was alone at the fire. Her eye weren't tired and her mind became entranced in the dancing flames of the fire. Her mind focused on Henry. When he was a boy ,about 5 years old, Henry used to make up his own language and only talk in that strange language. No one could understand him and he wouldn't translate. It drove everyone nutts even Nadine. She laughed at her brother's strange actions. And she knew that even though she was annoyed at everything that he did. She missed every moment of it. Nadine held her cheeks and realized that she was crying. Once she noticed her tears she couldn't stop from them coming. Her fear and grief left her to herself on her knees. Than she began to pray. She didn't know how to pray or what to pray for. She just wanted a relief. A way out of this situation. She didn't know how the faith came to the future Nadine, but she knew that her faith for her at this moment started right now and she was willing to accept whatever God put before her.

The morning came with cloudy skies and a slight breeze. Nadine woke beside the fire that she was praying beside. Her mind was clear, her fear was gone. Nadine took a look around. Some people were up walking around and some were practising with the new arrows that were made.

Nadine joined the men who were practising and became curious to see how it will work. One of the men must of read her thoughts because he came by and showed her. A sample bag with fake powder, Nadine thought it looked like flour, was put at the end of the arrow. There was a sharp pin bent and pointing at the bag. When holding the arrow with the head in the sky the bag is safe, but as soon as the arrow turns with the head down then the pin will tare the bag and it will open. The arrows seemed to work for most of the shoots that they took. There was a pile of white powder at the base of the trees.

The sanctuary was soon filled with people getting ready. Horses were being packed and men saying good bye to their wives. Xander walk to Nadine with his cane and said "I will not be going with you. Although I am interested to see what you will accomplish. Good luck Nadine."

"Thank you Xander. Here is your book back." Nadine handed Xander the journal by Alexander Pike then she added. "I wouldn't want king Delbern to have it." Xander excepted the book and than Nadine reached and gave Xander a hug.

The crowd of men on horseback and wagons went through the entrance of the sanctuary. Peter had a horse ready for Nadine to ride. Nadine went to the front of the crowd and met with Allister, Dustin and Peter.
