ignite | Kwite and friends *DISCONTINUED*

foreign places pt. 2

Kwite set up the tripod and camera ontop of it. It showed the room he had been using, white wallpaper, white sheets on the bed, black and white pillow covers and some old dainty desks. He pressed record and suddenly forgot how he planned out this video, he started to pace from behind the camera whilst it recorded before sighing and speaking up.

"I never thought this day would come," He began with a shaky voice, trying his best to calm his anxiety and keep a straight face. "I honestly never thought of doing a face reveal or anything like that. The video i did titled 'face reveal' was just a joke, never really came to mind ' hey i should show my face one day haha.'" Kwite sighed and finally came into view of the camera, sitting on the bed that was right infront of the camera, He wore nothing but a black hoodie with the sentence 'im much more interesting on the internet', ironic if i do say so myself, and a pair of off grey track suit pants.

"But unexpected things always happen and sadly this is the results of said unexpected thing," He looked down to his hands as he fiddled with his fingers gathering the strength to finish this video. "I know its been awhile since i last uploaded and alot of you are concerned since i havent made any announcements about this, but worry no more, i guess" Kwite looked up to the camera, staring directly into it "My house burned down. It was probably on the news for you, some of my friends said it was for them, so i wouldnt be surprised. I got in contact with my mother and we arranged for me to go to Japan to live with my grandparents over there until we have steady ground to work on and how to deal with this situation properly. Youtube isnt something really used there much and i heard its hard to use over there? I dont know... but that means that it mght be even longer till i make a proper video. Who knows, i might do a Q&A over there if i dont have anything to do" Kwite smiled at the camera, but anyone could see it wasnt a full smile.

Kwite looked back down to his hands and sighed, his phone went off with a discord notification and he looked up over to the left the back down to his lap after a second or two.

"I hope i can come back soon. But lifes dealing some hard cards right now, so it will take a bit for me to bounce back. Lets just hope i can get around Japan with the Japanese i still remember" Kwite smiled again at the camera as he got up and walked closer to it and reached for the 'stop' button before stopping and picking up the camera to meet his face. 

"Bye for now" 

And the screen went black.

Kwite wiped his eyes as he looked back up to Bethany and her husband. They made it to the airport and he would be boarding his flight in a half hour, but Bethany had to leave for an emergency and her husband had to leave for work. The couple held back tears as they hugged Kwite and gave words of encouragement.

"Youll do great Kwite, okay? Youll be okay" Bethany squeezed his hands as her husband rubbed circles on his back.

"Yeah, i'll be okay, ive flown solo before, its no big deal" Kwite chuckled as he gave a final hug to the couple and bid farewell before making it to boarding area. As he went to a attendant in charge of booking flights and all, she had said how the flight was delayed an extra half hour due to some medical emergency happening with the pilot that was suppose to fly the plane. Kwite said his thank yous and sat down on a chair quite a bit away from other people in the airport. Kwite decided to check his phone and saw how many notifications he had from discord and opened the app to see his friends in a group call and spamming for Kwite to join, so he did.

"Are you su- Kwite!" Brandon yelled through the call

"Hey" Kwite leaned more into the seat as he set a alarm for his flights boarding time.

"Hey kwite, what you doing?" Diesel asked

"Im waiting at the airport"

"Oh? Where are you going?" Ani quickly jumped in, you could hear the curiousness and excitement in her voice.

"Im flying to japan to live with my grandparents for a bit. Just until this clears up and fixes itself" Kwite replied, sighing as he remembered all his misfortunes.

"Japan! Oh thats so cool" Ani squealed.

"Yeah, it so aesthetically pleasing,  would love to go there" Kappa butted in. Huh, he been quiet.

"Mmm, i just dont think my japanese is as good as it was when i was younger. I also dont know how im going to make videos over there." Kwite said with a huff, just a bit frustrated.

"Speaking of videos, have you made one like talking about taking a leave or something like that?" Brandon asked

"Uh yea, it should be uploaded soon. I dont know when. I dont really want to upload it but it has to be done..." Kwite trailed off at the end, fiddling with his hoodie straps.

"Its all gonna get better Kwite, its just gonna take some time" Kappa spoke with a nurturing tone.

"Yeah, times may seem tough, but you need bad times to have the good times" Ani added"

"We're all here for you Kwite, remember that" Diesel spoke.

"Unless Brandons dragged us away to make reddt videos" Kappa interupted Brandon before he could speak, the statement earning laughs from everyone in the call. Soon Kwite had to say goodbyes as it was nearly time to board his flight. He quickly went to the bathroom after having a sandwich from the shops in the airport and grabbing a bottle of water and buying two books, one in Japanese with tips to learn japanese, and another one in english about a girl who moves into a haunted house. Spooky.

Kwite boarded his flight and was sat in a window seat at the back of the plane, next to a lady who was busy writing something down in a notebook. Kwite turned his attention to the window as he watched the plane ascend into the sky and gripped his armrest tighter as turbulence started to hit but soon stopped. He grabbed a blanket from his bag that he had been carrying with his since he was dropped off at the airport and wrapped himself in itafter grabbing a soft neck pillow he had also packed. He covered his face with his hoodie, acting like a sleeping mask, and snuggled into his seat before dozing off for the start of the flight.

While deep in his sleep, his phone vibrated, letting him know that his video was finally up.
