Princess Mary
BY MORNING EDWARD and I were drained of energy and lay in each other's arms. My head rested on his bare chest as his arm tightly wrapped around body. Edward was still asleep from our activities from the night before and I had risen before him.
I listen to his heartbeat with his chest rising. I didn't want to wake him because I loved the sound of his heartbeat. It was a magical thing.
Edward began to stir in his sleep and I raised my head, resting my chin on his chest as his eyes fluttered open looking down at me. "Good morrow, wife, " Edward said sleepily.
My lips spread wide into a smile hearing the word wife come from Edward's mouth. Finally, I was able to call him my husband after these long months.
He was mine and only mine. No one could take him from me, not even that whore from Brantos. Edward had promised to be faithful to me and I still questioned his loyalty, but I trusted him to tell me the truth.
"Good morrow, husband," I smiled and Edward placed a kiss on my lips, pulling me closer to him. Edward flipped us over so that he was on top moving his warm kisses down my neck. A moan at the soft pleasures and I wrapped my legs around Edward's waist.
The wedding night was not as painful as women say it will be. Yes, there was heavy pressure, but there was no pain. It was all a pleasure and I loved it. I could stay in bed with my husband forever if possible, but we couldn't.
However, I would enjoy the entire morning with my husband. As Edward aligned himself a heavy knock interrupted our love making, causing Edward to groan in annoyance. He rolled off top of me and covered himself with the linen and fur blankets. He made sure that I was covered as well before speaking.
"Who dares disrupt the princess and her husband at this hour?" Edward questioned in a serious tone and I couldn't help, but laugh at him. He sounded serious, but his smirk told another tale.
I wrapped my arms around his waist, nuzzling my head into his chest. Edward's arm draped around me, pulling me closer. His action made me smile once again.
His arms became my peaceful home.
"Tis, her majesty the queen and her grace the Countess of Brantos," the servant replied behind the door.
Edward and I jump from the bed, hurrying to dress ourselves. We help each other put on our shifts and robes from the day before. Once we had been clothed we allowed the servant to announce our mothers entrance.
As our mothers strolled into our chambers we both curtsy to our queen. "Your majesty," we said in unison. There were large grins on their faces as they moved closer.
