Rose
-May I ask who "her" is?

Mr. Noodles🍲
-Nope.

Rose
-Come on, Jack.

Mr. Noodles🍲
-Nope! Goodnight!

Rose
-Night, ya big noodle head.
                  ---------------------------
What the hell? I thought. I was so confused. Who is "her?"

I fell asleep conjuring crazy theories about who "her" could be, but I kept coming back to the thought of myself. I had a dream that night, about Jack (no shit what else). We were sitting in my room laughing about God knows what, when he asks me, "Rose, would you wanna, I dont know, maybe, umm.."

"Sure Jack. Pick me up at 7 tomorrow night."

I saw him walk out with a smile on his face, and that was the end of the dream. I woke up smiling, for the first time since I broke up with Michael.

Am I falling for my brother's best friend?

And maybe I was. I couldn't think one thought about it before my phone buzzed beside me. Message from Mr. Noodles🍲 - Morning!

I opened my phone and texted him back.

Rose
-Morning Noodles.

Mr. Noodles 🍲
-I didnt think you'd be awake

Rose
-I'm a morning person.

Mr. Noodles
-You and Daniel really are the same, aren't you?

Rose
-I guess you could say that.

-Mmkay. Well I've gotta go, food is calling.

-Now you sound like Daniel!

-Lol. ✌🏻

-Bye.

I smiled, and then guess who had to walk in and ruin the moment?

"Whatcha smiling about, huh Rose?"

"Dont make me kick you with my boots, Daniel."

I had these pointy boots and I had kicked him in the balls once with them. Let's just say he didnt leave his room for a few hours.

"Fine! Fine. Just, don't bring the boots out."

I laughed. Then my phone lit up.

Incoming video call from...
Mr. Noodles🍲

I answered it.

"Hey! What's up?"

"Jonah, Corbyn, and Zach went to Walmart while I was in the shower so now I'm alone."

"So you figured you'd call me?"

"Yep!"

I laughed, and I felt my cheeks turn hot. Shit, I thought.

"Can I come over? I'm bored."

"Let me ask Daniel."

I asked Daniel if Jack could come over, and he responded how any big brother would.
